<\/p>\nA large-scale cleanliness drive of Amala Bharatam was launched at Coimbatore on Saturday, 30th October, 2010.<\/p>\n

Nearly 700 students and staff of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham engaged themselves in the cleaning of various public premises at various locations like:<\/p>\n
\u2022\tUkkadam Bus stand and surrounding area
\n\u2022\tKuniamuthur town and surrounding area
\n\u2022\tEttimadai Pirivu to K.K.Chavadi<\/p>\nngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n
Volunteers belong to students and staff of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Ettimadai Campus from School of Engineering, Business, School of Communication, Master of Social work, staff of Estate office and representatives from Ashram. <\/p>\n
The volunteers cleaned Ukkadam bus stand and toilets were water washed, cleaned the stains on the walls caused by spitting betel nuts and pan parags.<\/p>\n
