During her darshan, Amma distributed handkerchiefs to the students as part of the Amala Bharatam Campaign, encouraging the villagers to use towels instead of spitting on the ground, thus contributing to public health and a hygienic environment. An ABC stall was set up with notices in Malayalam. It was inspiring to see international devotees, joined by locals busy picking trash, sorting and generally keeping cleanliness and educating about the various ideals espoused by ABC.
