{"id":1019,"date":"2008-11-30T17:37:38","date_gmt":"2008-11-30T12:07:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/e.amritapuri.org\/blogs\/?p=1019"},"modified":"2008-11-30T17:37:38","modified_gmt":"2008-11-30T12:07:38","slug":"bluesky","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/e.amritapuri.org\/blogs\/2008\/1019\/","title":{"rendered":"Blue Sky, Blue Sari, Jewels"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>29 November 2008<br \/>\nSan Ramon<\/p>\n<p>Dawn gave way to sunshine as Amma continued to give darshan through the morning.\u00a0 Dozens if not nearly a hundred people were standing outside the hall waiting for the first rayso of the sun to clear the hilltops to the east.\u00a0\u00a0 A blissful serenity has befallen MA Center.\u00a0\u00a0 As the sun rose higher, the blue sky was adorned with white streaks of clouds and airplane trails &#8211; instantly reminding one of Amma inside with her blue sari adorned with golden threads.<\/p>\n<p>Swami Ramakrishna was singing his set for some time when Swami Amritaswarupananda came for the final bhajans.\u00a0 It was almost 10:50am when the last hug was given.\u00a0 <em>Abhishta Varadayike<\/em> followed by <em>Amritavahini <\/em>boomed from the speakers.\u00a0 Nine feeding ceremonies and one wedding later and Amma stood up from her peetham and approached the front of the stage to throw flower petals on everyone.\u00a0\u00a0 Swami sang Amma Amma Taye as the crowd walked past.\u00a0 When the procession finished, Amma stepped back and gazed out at her children.\u00a0\u00a0 Two years back during the Seattle retreat, someone asked Amma what she was seeing when she stood there looking at everyone.\u00a0 Amma replied that she was feeling the love and adoration and bliss that everyone was radiating towards her and was reflecting it back at each and everyone of us.<\/p>\n<p><em>Amma Amma Taye <\/em>continued for quite some time before the curtains finally closed.\u00a0 Closing prayers.\u00a0 Amma coming out.\u00a0 Smiling and blowing kisses to everyone, Amma headed out of the hall.\u00a0\u00a0 Someone called out &#8216;<em>Mata Rani Ki&#8230;&#8230;.&#8217;<\/em> and of course everyone shouted &#8216;Jai!&#8217;.
