As the world lay silent ,
\nthe lone star in the sky looked down,
\nmisty eyed, and searched for Her.<\/p>\n
Down the lanes,by the river side,
\non hilltops and valleys,she searched,
\nbut found Her nowhere.<\/p>\n
Alas! when do i see Her?
\nthought the star,
\nand gazed at the ocean waves.<\/p>\n
There on the shore,
\na speck of white.
\nthe star gazed again,
\nthere She is!<\/p>\n
Down, on the white sands,
\nwalked She, in beauty.
\nHer eyes rose up
\nto the twinkling in the sky.<\/p>\n
Her smile went miles through the clouds,
\nto cheer the lone star,
\nand lit up the entire sky.<\/p>\n
