Well, that’s the consensus of a few of the Brahmacharis.\u00a0 To me, it looks a bit pinkish rose red – definitely more red.\u00a0 The sleeves are creme\/white.\u00a0\u00a0 The red part has lots of gold designs.\u00a0\u00a0 Earlier, when Amma came out for Ambike Devi, one or two Brs. took a guess and said ‘blue’ and ‘violet’, but they were wrong….<\/p>\n
Before Amma came out for Darshan, we were able to talk with Her.\u00a0 There was no video.\u00a0 During these chats, a microphone is passed around so that anyone who wants to talk directly to Amma can do so.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Eariler today, I had decided that I would take this chance to ask Amma\u00a0 what color She planned to wear – in the hopes that I could clarify any doubt as to the shade, and of course just so I could talk to Her.\u00a0 I asked a Br. to write out the correct transliteration of the Malayalam, and alerted the Br. with the microphone that I would like to have a chance to speak.\u00a0 So when Amma came on line, after a few others had a chance,\u00a0 I took the mic and spoke out a bit nervously, “Amma, Innu ratri ethu nirathilulla sariyanu dharikkan pokunnathu?’ in faltering Malayalam, partly not believing that I was really talking to Amma and that She would certainly hear my voice.\u00a0 Almost immediately, Amma said something back – in Malayalam –\u00a0 and all the Brs. turned to me and said ‘Sri Pati!’\u00a0\u00a0 I just looked around like ‘huh?’ and they all said ‘Sri Pati! again.\u00a0 Turns out they were prompting me to say my name – Amma was asking who was speaking!\u00a0\u00a0 My heart skipped a beat, and I said ‘Sri Pati’ into the mic, but by then, the other groups on line had started vying for Amma’s attention and were talking as well.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Oh well.\u00a0 There’s always the next city.\u00a0 By then, my Malayalam will be much better, and I’ll be sure to identify myself!\u00a0\u00a0 Toulon is next.<\/p>\n
