\nThe Puja finishes, and Amma heads inside the Mandapam.\u00a0\u00a0 Then we wait… We shuffle around so that we can all fit in the view of the camera that is transmitting our images to Amma, who is in Manheim.
\nAfter maybe 7 minutes, word comes, \u2018Amma\u2019s Calling!\u2019\u00a0\u00a0 We shout out \u2018Ammeeeeeeee!\u2019\u00a0\u00a0 The Brahmacharis and Brahmacharinis all call out for Amma\u2019s attention.\u00a0\u00a0 We wait for a reply.\u00a0\u00a0 \u2018Ammeeeeeee!,\u2019 we shout again.\u00a0 And again.\u00a0\u00a0 Then, over the competing \u2018Ammeeeees\u2019, a beautiful voice is heard\u2026\u2026..\u201dNamah Sivayah Makale!\u201d\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Amma is there!\u00a0 Our joy is expressed by even louder shouts of \u2018Ammeeeee!\u2019
\nJokes and laughter follow.\u00a0 A few minutes of bliss hearing Amma\u2019s voice.\u00a0 And then it\u2019s quiet.\u00a0 Amma has to get ready for Devi Bhava.
\nThe curtains open for Ambike Devi, and we reverently chant along.\u00a0 Then the curtains close. Swamiji starts singing \u2018Jai Jai Satguru Maharani.\u2019\u00a0 And we wait some more\u2026
\nWhen the curtains open again,\u00a0 Amma is sitting with Her eyes closed, holding flower petals in Her hands, looking so blissful, so at peace, radiating such Motherly Love.\u00a0 She is wearing a reddish\/orange sari \u2013 Sanyas color,\u00a0 but with gold designs.\u00a0\u00a0 Arati begins.\u00a0 Swamini waves the lamp and offers flower petals at Amma’s feet.\u00a0\u00a0 Darshan begins.\u00a0\u00a0 And we wait for tomorrow to hear another \u2018Namah Sivayah Makale!\u2019<\/p>\n
