{"id":2141,"date":"2009-09-18T12:05:13","date_gmt":"2009-09-18T06:35:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/e.amritapuri.org\/blogs\/?p=2141"},"modified":"2009-09-18T12:09:13","modified_gmt":"2009-09-18T06:39:13","slug":"her-blessing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/e.amritapuri.org\/blogs\/2009\/2141\/","title":{"rendered":"Her Blessing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Her Blessing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have hung her image in my heart<br \/>\nAnd from my mouth, her name sung<br \/>\nShe held me when I was torn apart<br \/>\nAnd guided me since my start<br \/>\n<br \/>\nIn a meadow of light she first became<br \/>\nHer heart connected to those days<br \/>\nWhen man walked with gods the same<br \/>\nSo she embraced the emanating rays<br \/>\nAnd decided to embark in her place<br \/>\nTo build the golden gate of grace<br \/>\n<br \/>\nBlessed is the day she was born<br \/>\nUnknown to her father an angel was known<br \/>\nWhile she was miraculously entering our would<br \/>\nAngels sung her praises with words<br \/>\n\u201cAlas, a star child was born<br \/>\nOne that will hold humanity in its turn<br \/>\nAnd teach the meaning of the word:<br \/>\nLove, now known as the hugging phoenix-bird\u201d<br \/>\n<br \/>\nIn a silent village close by the sea<br \/>\nThe sky above resonating with glee<br \/>\nFor the loving being finally understood<br \/>\nThat love is more then just a word<br \/>\nIt\u2019s a bond between you and me<br \/>\nCreating the universal family<br \/>\nTHAT!
