Amma\u2019s visit coincided with a potentially dangerous eruption of Reunion\u2019s active volcano. There were serious concerns about acid rain caused by the sulphur emitted from the volcano\u2019s fiery core. And while it did rain, there was no acid rain during Amma\u2019s visit. Thus it seemed to some of the devotees that the Goddess had come in person to shower her blessings in the shadow of Nature\u2019s fury.
