Amma asked us to sit near her.  A young Indian woman came for darshan to ask many detailed questions in a mixture of Hindi, Malayalam, and English.  We heard the word \u201cphysics\u201d pop into her conversation with Mother.  Mukti wagged her finger at me; \u201cWatch out\u201d, she said, \u201cThis is about you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rhadika Nair, who was standing behind the chair pointed to me, as she told Amma that I was a physics professor. Amma gave me a big smile.  We left the stage totally energized.  I went to sit in a chair by the side of the hall to watch darshan and listen to bhajans.<\/p>\n<p>Fifteen minutes later, I  was called back to the chair.  This time Amma said, \u201cAmma wants you to come to Amritapuri and help start the new integrated physics-math program at her university.  What grace, a direct request from our beloved Guru and I immediately I pranamed and said, \u201cYes Amma.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I had thought that I was in a retirement phase of life.
