Of course, She has been singing bhajans in different Indian languages for ages\u2026 (of which few of us westerners understand the difference). I remember how, maybe five years ago, She asked me to write the first english one. That&#8217;s how Lord of Vrindavan came into being.<\/p>\n<p>Last January I heard that Swamiji had been asking for a faster and more joyful english Bhajan for Amma to sing. I always liked singing &#8220;Sita Ram, Sita Ram\u2026&#8221; It somehow tasted sweet in my mouth\u2026 So I sat down and started writing.<\/p>\n<p>Last night I went for Bhajans and as usual, sat on the side of the stage where I could have a good view on Amma. From the very beginning, She kept on looking at my direction with a mischevious smile on Her lips. I wasn&#8217;t sure if She was looking at me\u2026 But I soon found out that She actually was.<\/p>\n<p>She called me to sing &#8220;Hail to Your Glory&#8221; with Her. And while I was having this wonderful experience of singing with Mother, I was thinking with tears of gratitude in my eyes: &#8220;Hail to Her Glory\u2026&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Your name will protect me, I&#8217;ll come to no harm singing Ram, Jay Jay Ram, Jay Jay Ram, Sita Ram!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sathya , Finland<br \/>\n29 Aug 2006<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amma has been singing songs in different languages for a few years now.
