When a Jeevatma called “Arjuna,”
\nWas tormented by th’ laws of Karma,<\/p>\n
Shaken to dust, wrecked an’ broken by strife,
\nBy th’ most formidable currents of life.<\/p>\n
Utterly dejected, hence he knew not
\nHe could still be invincible an’ float,<\/p>\n
Facing th’ existential foes, money, power an’ lust,
\nIn the ocean of Samsara, so unbearable, an’ difficult.<\/p>\n
Later, he built the fort of faith empowered,
\nBy the strength of his surrender to the Lord,<\/p>\n
Inquired about births, deaths and reincarnations,
\nThe travelings of souls in different bodily forms.<\/p>\n
Adhering to the Truth, and Virtue,
\nHe made, God His slave yet a benign Guru,<\/p>\n
Thus being served by God, and instructed,
\nMade his life worthy of being contemplated,<\/p>\n
On his heroic deeds and enviable battles won,
\nThe teachings of Gita on our lips ever live on.<\/p>\n
