With some amount of regret i am writing this blog, some unfortunate events have happened for some of the residents since amma’s left for her european tour…

first was bodhamrita chaitanya, he has had to undergo a surgery to remove a brain tumor, which quickly developed over the last couple of months. The operation was done yesterday at AIMS, by bramhachari doctor Ashok and colleagues. An archana was arranged by the ashram residents after breakfast to pray for a positive outcome from the operation, everyone participated and by evening we all heard that the operation was successful and now he will be kept under observation over the next couple of weeks…

the second is that the bramhachari doctor of our amritapuri hospital, Dr. Chandrashekar tripped while climbing down stairs and has broken a bone near the ankle and now is wearing a big cast on his right leg, nursing a broken bone and torn ligament. Amma actually sent the other bramhachari doctor from our hospital Dr. Rammohan to Surat for a medical camp, she wanted Dr.chandrashekar to stay here, although he would have been very useful in surat because of his wide experience in disaster relief operations.

So this blog is a request for prayers from all the devotees for the afflicted. Like amma says “when you pray for the whole world, the whole world prays for you”, so lets get out of self centered states and unite with the higher self through prayer.
