Milanam Madhuram
Today we finally got a connection to the Devi-bhava in Milan, Italy. Yesterday it looked like it would not be happening at all because there seemed to be no wireless connections at the program. But it seems Amma was insisting to keep trying and finally somehow everything fell into place as usual around Her.
When we finally saw Amma She was dressed in a yellow sari and maroon blouse and maybe because we already thought that we were not going to see Her at all, She seemed ever so beautiful and sweet. It seemed to me like she was sweetness itself. Akhilam Madhuram.
The ending was energetic. I’m sure the Italian people liked it, lively as they are. After the darshan was over we waited again to be taken inside the Devi-bhava temple.
Waiting….waiting…waiting…and finally – there Amma was back in her usual white sari again and with a beaming smile on her lips red bindi on her forhead. Again the Brahmacharinis and Brahmacharis had a full on shouting competition in order to attract Amma’s attention to their respective sides. And Amma was encouraging it. Everybody shouted, “Ammaaah!”, and then Amma called back, “Makkaleee!”. On the boys side it was almost deafening.
If an outsider had been observing all this they would have thought both Mother and children a bit crazy. Or if a religious scholar had been looking on, he probably would have concluded all here to be hopeless cases. But who can understand the Love between Amma and Her children?
Dear reader, don’t worry, we have scripture classes also so that we don’t go completely off the deep end.
Or is it too late?

Perhaps going off the deep end is how we learn to swim! Hopefully, it is never too late to bathe in Amma’s Divine love. As always, with deep gratitude for helping us feel connected.
