During the satsang translations, we could see Amma leaning over to look intently at the laptop that was beside Her. She pointed at the screen a few times.  All the Brs. who were gathered on stage started waving like little kids – hoping to get Her attention.

After the puja, when Amma went inside the mandapam, there wasn’t much interaction, so I didn’t get to ask Her what color sari She would wear. I think we only heard Amma’s voice once.  Not sure if there was some problem on Amma’s end or not.  There were also video problems so we missed seeing the curtains open up for Ambike Devi.

When the curtain opened up again for Devi Bhava, Amma was wearing a deep sky blue sari – the same color as my first VW Van. It stood out against the red and orange backdrop.  Amma was also wearing a garland with red, yellow and orange flowers.  The contrast was beautiful.

Tomorrow morning will be the end of Devi Bhava and hopefully we’ll get to see more sky….

  2. I agree with son 27. The stories you write, Sri Pati, help me feel like I am in Amritapuri too. I realized this week that I will be in Amritapuri during the Michigan and London Devi Bhavas so look forward to having the web cam connection experience for myself!!!

  3. Color Correction: At the end of Devi Bhava this morning, I looked at the laptop and saw the color contrast vs. what I had seen on the big screen Amma’s sari seemed to have a slight touch of violet. I had been so fixed last night on the sweet blue sky that I didn’t notice the difference!
