Wait and see
I was in the shuttle staff this summer. The shuttle shack is the place where we organize the rides for devotees from the ashram to their respective destinations. It sometimes becomes a very anxious place because sometimes people have to wait for a long time to get their rides. Here are couple of leelas:
* A lady was waiting for almost an hour for a ride to the nearby train station. On seeing her there for such a long time, I inquired about her final destination. She told me that she wants to go to the San Francisco airport (about 60 miles from the ashram) via train and would miss her flight if she does not get a ride soon. I told her to pray to Amma for a ride. She gladly accepted the suggestion. The very next “minute”, another devotee came to the shuttle rack offering a ride to the San Francisco airport. The hearts melted…
* Two ladies were waiting for a ride to a nearby parking lot (around 2 miles from the ashram). They had been waiting for almost an hour for this ride, which was very unusual. Just talking to each other, one lady said to the other “Seems like I have been complaining a lot for the past hour or so, I should not complain that much”. The very next minute they got the ride.

Whenever I am late for something, and I pray to Amma to help me get a quick means of transport, She has always answered those prayers. This is indeed saying something, in my case, as I rush to catch my bus\train to work almost every morning and tell Amma urgently to help me not miss it. She has never failed to answer my prayers!
Last year when my daughter was in pune, she had lost her mobile and had to go to police station all alone. I,1400km away felt helpless and remembered AMMA and prayed for help, asked AMMA to be beside her. And AMMA answered my prayers. None of her friends were willing to go with her, when suddenly one classmate with whom she had never talked even came forward to help her and also escort her to her p.g. I later told my daughter that it was actually AMMA in that boy who helped her in that distress. Such is AMMA. She answers prayers and we are assured that we are never alone.
“Om Amirtheswariye Namah”.
Each and every day or rather every moment Amma is with us. We are the ones forgetting to feel her presence more often. May Amma (Parasakthi) bless us with the sakthi to be with Her every moment.
Thank you for sharing these little experiences around Amma!
This happened a couple of years ago at Amritapuri. I was to travel by the ‘Chennai Mail’ train, leaving Kayamkulam at 4-15PM. I got Darshan at about 2-50PM. There was a heavy downpour and the boat could not leave till 3-25PM. I was pleading with the boatman when a youngster (whom I had never met) told me not to worry! He dropped me at Kayamkulam railway station on his bike by 4PM. I had enough time to have lunch before the train arrived! Who else but AMMA could have arranged this?
