Alert, ever moving eyes waiting to spot danger, breath short and rapid, body poised and ready to destroy the enemy – Indrawn eyes, slow gentle breaths, body relaxed. The former state during duty and the latter during meditation. The CISF jawans from Mumbai Airport who were undergoing IAM Tech training showed amazing versatility in switching roles. It was an inspiring sight to see them immersed in meditation. In fact many of them took to it like ducks to water. Brahmacharis Avyayamritaji, (Dr.) Sundar and myself conducted the sessions with able assistance from Mumbai AYUDH members Abhilash and Vivek.

Around 90 CISF Personnel underwent training in 4 hour sessions on July 2nd, 3rd and 4th. The venue was the CISF barracks at Sahar, near the international airport. After the sessions many of them came forward eager to know more about AMMA, the ashram activities and the IAM meditation technique.

Two sessions of IAM Technique for trainers of IAM Technique were conducted in Pune by me and Br. Eknath on July 8th and 9th. Earlier on in June classes were conducted in Mumbai for devotees in varied locations like Nerul, Badlapur, Kandivili, Thane and Chembur. More than 50 devotees in Mumbai have volunteered to become trainers and some of them have started practicing in right earnest.

Currently the CISF Personnel from Rashtriya Chemical Fertilisers, Mazagoan Docks Ltd, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd are undergoing training at the CISF barracks at Vashi. AYUDH member Sarvanjay who is back from BSF training in Bengal is also assisting us. More classes are scheduled next week. Also next week will see the first CISF ladies battalion being trained in IAM Meditation.

some quotes:
1. “Chalo acha hua AMMAji ka Darshan ho chukka” (Good, so we got AMMA’s Darshan) …. Said one CISF jawan after watching a small video clipping on AMMA and ashram activities.

2. I have been trained in the BSF and also CISF for many years. I have undergone many such training programs in yoga and meditation. IAM Technique undoubtedly is the best. It is very light, non strenuous and very very effective. I could feel a lot of peace while doing it. Now my mind is completely fresh and relaxed. (CISF Jawan Joseph, from Madurai)
