The old song Anandamayi Brahmamayi always brings a few teardrops to Amma’s eyes and naturally of the listeners also.

O Blissful One, Oh Absolute One, whose form is of unsurpassed beauty.

Crossing the six mystic centers the yogis come to know Thee, the invaluable Treasure.
Thy Glory and Infinite power, are however, only slightly known even unto them.

Religions and castes have only helped to increase the arrogance of mankind.
As the life of all beings Thou rest as the substratum of the mind.

We wander blindly in deserts of darkness, and all desires are a mirage.
O fountain of knowledge! Help me to renounce all desires that i may know Thee.

    I first heard Anandamayi Brahmamayi on the AP website. I like the sound of Amma’s voice on that track. Am really happy to hear that Amma is singing it again now. Some sort of coincidence maybe. Hope She will sing it when I see her next!

    I love that song!
    I have the Malayalam CD that it’s on, but I hadn’t listened to it in a while. When I did, I started crying, Anandamayi is so moving to listen to!
