  2. The most precious gift is AMMA herself – everything called “mine” comes by her grace and belongs to her, there is nothing I can give her…
    To be a humble, loving, compassionate, servant for all – this is what I wish to offer at AMMA’S Lotus Feet on her birthday.

  18. If Amma is the Sun and I’m a candle, I can’t really offer her anything. But since I’m also supposed to be Amma, at least in some seed form, Then I guess I should water myself and thus offer something to Amma. Which is easy!
    On Amma’s birthday I’ll do seva all day long at her San Ramon Ashram!

  27. All I can offer to my beloved Amma are my negative tendencies, for if there is anything good and of value existing within in me, it is only Her grace working through me. Once a offered Her a flower with the intention of letting it symbolize all my vasanas because there was nothing else I could offer Her. Instead of taking it and passing it on (as she usually does), She crushed the flower with Her hand and smashed it completely. Wow! What a a lesson, what a grace. Amma smashing my vasanas…
