mantra miracle

one little girl about 12 years old asked amma for mantra. last year also she has asked for mantra. but only this time amma gave it. the next day when i saw her she said the mantra has changed her so much. i asked her what was the change. ‘you wont believe it,’ she said.
i said ‘i believe you.’what did the manta do?.’
pointing to her heart she said ‘its still ringing here. its is so powerful’
‘ok. what was the change?’ i asked.
‘my anger was reduced.’
‘with whom you are angry with?’
‘with my little brother and a friend.’
‘oho ‘ i exclaimed
when i retold amma this to amma with the girl by amma’s side, amma herself was looking at her with eyes of wonder.
but the girl was confident, that the mantra changed her.
is this not was is needed for a disciple– an innocent faith?
then it will do miracles.

this year i too asked Amma for a mantram. thanks to Amma, Amma gave me a mantram the next day. i feel such a presence of Amma with me all the time which was not that much before. and i just cant believe this, but the mantra is not leaving me, even in the gymnasium, where loud hindi and english film songs are played, the mantra is going on in my heart in the gym too. earlier i would just enjoy the songs and gym, but now the mantra goes on. thank you Amma.

Yes the mantra change us. It takes us nearer to GOD/AMMA. I also first used to think about this and that, but now when i have starting chanting AMMA……… I have control over my mind, whenever I think it is wandering, I scold it for forgetting to chant AMMA and start doing it again.
Many thanks for sharing this wonderful story as well as for the wonderful replies here. I had the blessing of Amma’s darshan twice and I felt so at peace and so inundated by Her love that at that time I did not feel the need of asking the mantra. I was just lost being there with Her. I think, the next time She bestows Her divine darshan on me, I’d love to ask for a mantra.

i would like to share something that happened today….it has been raining beautifully here… i was watching the rain,lost in thoughts…two years back,one evening with Amma at vallikavu,,all my friends were queing up to receive mantra …i had not yet dared asking Her for it, since i thought i could’nt keep up the habit of chanting it everyday……but sumthing struck inside and i felt this was my chance…i ran up to the darshan queue and Amma readily initiated me with the mantra…it is said tht the guru is giving us a part of her shakti wen she gives mantradeeksha….
now i suddenly woke up from my train of thoughts and had this urge to run into the rain…standing in the rain,with the drops falling on my face i chanted my mantra…..everything about me came to a standstill…i could feel Her looking into me,smiling warmly……the piercing cold of the raindrops turned warm in her embrace….the faith that She is with me,in and out, was reinstilled….i know that mantra is the umbilical chord that always connects me to Her…..
am a devotee of amma.but never had a chance of visiting ammas vallikavu ashram .am a keralite.this august am planning to visit vallikavu.i have been getting darshans from amma at palakkad and other places for past 7 years.i am planning to ask amma a mantra when i go to vallikavu this time.i would like to know what is the peculiarity of the darshan at vallikavu.will amma give us more time in vallikavu than the darshan at other places.can we sit near her?can we talk to her?how many times in a day can we get darshans in vallikavu.may be am asking foolish questions.but please can anybody help me
