Of course, no one can be called as the most important other than AMMA for Her unconditional and boundless love in spite of all limitations of Her child stands as the highest.
Yet, we can mention a few, as mother and father and good-loving teachers whose influence had tremendous effect on the character.
Also I met great Sanyasi Swamis (renunciates) who love was so great and just incomparable. I can also include all of them in the list of the most important people.
My nephews becouse i love to see them grow up and becouse they are so cute! Also my friends who help me to make life enjoyable..but Amma is the most important. To be close to her i would give up any other relatonsship.
my family – parents, brother, sisters, other brothers, uncles…people that raised me. 🙂
Swami Vivekananda…thru his sayings/books only I am entering into the “Spiritual World”.
My grand mother was a great source of inspiration to me. She taught me great values for my future, I was too young at that time to realize everything she was teaching me, she showed me that women can be strong & determinated.
===>
other than amma, they will be my father, mother and little brother…
it’s only because of them i’m standing here with atleast some of the good qualities , i think i’m having now…
they took great care in selecting the books i read (when i was a child), selectively watching tv programs, music, going to temple regularly, getting up early morning, praying together etc.
but above all i think, it’s amma herself gave me them so as to teach me all these lessons…!
so her love is something unique and uncomparable and THE GREATEST !!!
🙂
Wow. . . this question helped me to realize because of Amma’s grace . . .there are no special people in my life any more . . .yet they are all special. . .thank you Amma. . .
the most important people for me are my parents .They have been my guiding light throughout my life till day. Thanks to Amma for having blessed me with such wonderful people around .
My everything is AMMA no one other than her is important she was before, she is today and she is future also.
Itz ma Parents….
Matha Pitha Guru Deivam…..
They only brought me to this beautiful world…and more than that, to Amma……
My chithis(mother’s sister) because they are spending their life for me and also my elder sister,my younger brother, appa.i thank AMMA for giving such persons to me
My mother (she is the best) and my son (he is the most precious gift from Amma).
my Sister and her family including my parents and my niece
Amma has made me realize that everyone in my life has played a part to be what I am and every experience with them, good or bad, has been an important one. I can only conclude – Amma and all Her children are very important to be where I am.
everyone is special. next to Amma, my mom is, because she raised me to follow whatever path I chose, to respect all people, and to be tolerant of others. I am indebted to her for raising me that way.
The most important person in my life today is the one that introduced me to Amma, because he is the person that also keeps me feeling closest to Her. Also, the people I love most in my life and are most important to me are my class students. Through them, I can learn a lot and practice spirituality.
My family for having instilled the values and principles I live my life by today… My husband for all his support and a few friends for having made life more meaningful.
Amma ofcourse is important for being the guiding light for all of us…
The most important person to me other than Amma is firstly myself. I am not being selfish but I think it is important to care for yourself and be good to yourself before you embrace others and like them. Since I think of myself as tool in making for helping others in future. After myself, I put my Granny and Mum as well as my Mum’s brother very high up on the pedestal because of their blind faith in me.
My Father, a true devotee of Kali Matha, who had several Darsans and experience from Matha, but the last darsan was on his last moments in1969, a different one. Father told me “This time Maa came in white sari ” . Later when AMMA gave me darsan in 1995 I was surprised to see that It was the same Form as my father described. So my Father is the first Imoprtant Other than AMMA in my life along with my Mother who taught about the pure love.
Who is imortant next ? Most imprtant is My Valliya Swami (Swami Amritaswaroopanda puri) who taught me about AMMA. Before seeing AMMA physically we were seeing AMMA through His amritabhashan and
amritasudha (bhajans). All devottes of AMMA is important to me. Now iam trying to see all people one way or other AMMAs devottes only. So all are equally important. Sathakodi pranams at AMMAs Lotus Feet.
My Mom because even with all her faults she gave me the gift of life. For this I am grateful:-).
Amma of course is the most imortant. But I am trying to learn from Amma’s teaching that every person is equally special. No one is more or less special in my eyes.
Amma is the most important because she gives me the happiness and love no one can give. With this love and happiness i am able to do other works and live with my dear ones who are also very important for me – my husband and parents. Base is Amma and on the foundation stands dear ones who are her reflection.
of course Amma is the most important person in my life.. but its because of my parents that i hav been introduced to thi great Mahatma.. if Amma has made them as instruments for me getting introduced to Her then obviously i have to pay respect to both dignitary souls 🙂
🙂
a very difficult question indeed!!
to me amma is home…… apart from that, “parents” come first for me….i am ever grateful to the them for bringing me to the world and for their unconditional love………
equally important to me is that “someone special” in my life for accepting me as i am, with all my flaws…..thanks to him i remain a child at heart despite having bloomed into a young woman…..
Most important people (other than Amma) are my wife, children and grandchildren, and particularly my second daughter who is gravely ill since birth. She has given me a great deal of concern, but nevertheless also a lot of happiness. I feel very close to her.
Amma has provided me with a family perfect for my spiritual development.
Thank you Amma, for my family. You really take care of all the needs of your children. I love you my darling Amma.
Whoever has come into my life is important to me in one way or the other since all of them have helped me in learning valuable lessons regarding this world and life….. I thank amma for everything….. Pranams at your lotus feet amma……
The most important persons in my life are those who brought me to Amma. True, everyone in my life was seeing me off in that general direction but two gave me the greatest push. One still guides me and the other is my son who took on himself the burden of redeeming me and he acts as a mirror and teacher for me. My teachers – those who taught with love and passion – also inspire me. A Malayali lady who started a college for Jharkand tribal women forty years ago and an American woman who has great fun running an organization in an inner city. And a friend Amma gave me who has the same birthday as Amma and is full of light.
My parents
Well, obviousy Amma, but there are my parents and my best friend. I love my parents, (my dad especially). I love my best friend, she is a huge influence in my life, and my dog and my sister, basically, the people that are closest to my heart, who I feel the God inside them the most. :]
Other than Amma most important people in life are my parents. My mother taught me what is love and my father taught me what is discipline. Without these two lessons, it would not have been possible for me, to understand what our Amma is teaching now. That is my little understanding and thinking in the divine scheme of things as of now. Only Amma knows what is correct.
In this world which is denser than a forest, Amma has been holding us every moment on how to live with love, care, share and prayer. Living by Her teachings every moment, takes us very close to Her. Who else could be more impotant?
Amma is very important in my life because if I had not met her I would have got lost in the world of pleasure. She is the Solace of my life. She is my protecter. She inspires me to live. She inspires me to do selfless service. It is her immortal worlds which helps me to honour everyone in life.
AMMA is my ultimate. Other than Amma, the most important is Swami Amritageetananda, who for me is the representative and voice of my Amma. His satsang and bhajans are very effective and heart melting, which elevate us to different higher planes,to Amma’s world. Around Swamiji, i always intensely feel the divinity, the presence of my AMMA.
Thus, directly or indirectly, AMMA alone is my entire world.
Important person other than Amma? Parents for giving me existence to this world, then wife & children for giving me so much love and then friends & relatives.
Matha, Pitha, Guru, Deivam. So Mother, Father and God are important other than the Guru (Amma).
I came to realise the most important is the divine self herself, AMMA who orchestrates everything in my life. Followed closely by my Parents and then everyone else who has a role to play in my life. Like my Aunts and cousins.
the situations which lead me more closer to amma .
The most important for me is Amma, and to be one with her
The Most important person? Wha!!! Other than Amma? Amma is a person? No ,no. Not at all. Amma is the Ultimate Truth principle. The Guru Tattvam. The self of all living and nonliving and moving and unmoving things. But if we take in a physical concept (Body level) Very very gross level amma is the most important person to all of her children.Mata pita guru daivam every thing is Amma to her childern. According to me Amma is the Pure Self of everthing And Every thing (Sarvacaracaram) is in Amma’s Self. So Naturaly we like to give importance to ourown self which is the self of all others and that is our Amma.So otherthan the pure self i defenitely give importrance to my betterhalf my Kanha!!!.But i don’t know my Kanha is taking it very serious.
Everyone has been important, the gurus most of all for helping me understand the nonsense of life. But it is my many animal friends with their pure love, intelligence, and acceptance that have never failed me, keeping me cheerful and feeling most useful when life was most tough.
AMMA!…………………………
then my dad and mom
My parents for giving me the gift of life, nurturing and caring for me. My sister from whom I learnt the way to love and hate 🙂 a sibling. My grandparents who doted on me. My aunts and uncles for spoling me with love. My husband for teaching me that love comes in many forms. My daughter who gave me the opportunity to be a mother and return all the love and care I received as a child. Ambi chechi and Gopi ettan who first introduced Amma to me and my Toronto Satsang family without whom I will not be standing upright today. All this is and was possible thru Amma’s grace and love.
Amma is the most improtant, but other than that…My family–Mom, Brothers, and my Husband. Also my pets 🙂
I presume, whoever gives us happiness are the most important persons in our life….But Amma is there for something higher… which is the immortal bliss for which there is no antonym…and i am yet to experience that. Love you Amma so much 🙂
My mom and my dad were my first gurus and are my oldest friends. My son who is pure light manifested in human form. There is nothing that can keep my happiness and energy from flowing when he is around. My husband is so important because all of his strengths are my weaknesses, I learn so much from him. It is because of him that I am so balanced and he is super supportive. All just like ammachi!
My home guru (husband) and my three junior gurus who have now left home but still keep me on my toes and my guru friends.
Most important for me is myself. Without having love and respect to oneself first how can we love and respect others around us?
I’m respecting all living and non-living beings in this world because I’m able to learn many things from them. So everybody & everything is important for me.
My two kids, coz they are part of me.
