Darshan in the Bhajan Hall
At 9 pm I just go on stage and Amma is just eating something, looks like bread or so. Amma really likes it a lot and keeps eating, its quite big. Amma looks to all of us on the ladies side and is asking whether is has sugar made at the café. Just when Amma asks about the sugar in it, it turns out that the head baker of the café is just having her 15 minute Prasad supervisor shift, what a timing!!!! Then she responds telling Amma it does have sugar, yet Amma replies firmly: “no sugar only prema (divine love)”.
Then Apoorva, the baker, tells Amma she could make her another one without sugar, but Amma is firm, she wants to eat this. Amma keeps eating and giving Apoorva such beautiful looks of total satisfaction, happiness. She looks like Sri Krishna himself, when charming as he steals the butter (means the hearts of the Gopis). And in between Amma keeps telling: nice, veryyyy niiiice, nice …… again and again combined with these beautiful, shining looks to Apoorva. It is utterly incredible.
When Apoorva ended her shift, I called her over and said this was so incredible, she also was beaming. She said it had a little story behind: she had been feeling difficulty and frustration with her Seva, and been struggling lately. I said, this was so clear, that Amma totally acknowledged her hard work and your heart you are putting into it. Amma really delivered the message, that all Apoorva makes, in her heart she is really doing it for Amma.
Then the girl who brought it, heard us and told us, that she was the one bringing it to Amma. It was her last darshan before going home, suddenly in Darshan line she felt inspired to get something for Amma. She walked over to the café and got one of these cookies. She just wanted to bring something for Amma, she never thought that Amma would eat it. All she heard while in Amma’s arms was Amma eating the cookies.
It was so sweet and so incredible, Amma knows our hearts in and out and she is also orchestrating everything. The sudden desire in one heart to bring Amma a gift, the sadness and struggle in another heart and then to bring them timewise together, what a masterpiece. And she does it all the time…. With me, you and everyone, and we don’t get it. We still think we are the ones in control.
Amma may I bow my head, my will, my heart, my all to Thy Will.
