Aspiring to be a Chartered Accountant
Jimisha has been an ardent devotee of Amma from the time she could remember and has always considered herself to be blessed to be one of her children. She has received a lot of helpful advice from her beloved Amma and now she is on cloud nine to be included in the Vidyamritam Scholarship Scheme for the second consecutive year.
She is now confident that she can continue to aspire to be a Chartered Accountant. Earlier, her dreams were shadowed by the financial crisis her family faced. She happens to be the younger of two children of a simple fisherman from Calicut. For a young girl of 17, she seems to be extremely determined to attain her goal. She even has a detailed plan chalked out for her education after her school life. “I’ll enroll in a C.A foundation course during the two month vacation that I have after my board exams. Then I’ll pursue a degree in commerce while simultaneously continuing the C.A course.”
She dreams of a brighter future for herself and her family and Vidyamritam will go a long way to help her in realizing that dream.
