Synchronicity

13 Dec 2007, Amritapuri

One of the things I love about being near Amma is how synchronistically things happen.  A primary goal for my trip to the ashram this year is to spend time with Meenamba learning about her project of turning plastic bags into baskets, asanas and other items (link).  If I could learn how to make the items here then I would be able to teach other devotees how to do it when I return to the U.S.

While I had not forgotten that goal, I had not acted on it yet.  Yesterday, out of the blue, during lunch Meenamba sat down right next to me.  When I told her of my desire, she said she planned to set up a work station in the canteen that very day!

Hours later, I was cutting and folding plastic strips alongside devotees from Singapore, Malaysia, Belgium and the United States.  As we worked, we talked about the service projects our satsangs were doing to help our communities and Mother Earth.

This was yet another example of how Amma is bringing us all together, creating a human family dedicated to healing the planet.

Thank you Amma for all of the synchronistic grace that pours forth from you!
