  • On Guru Poornima

Amma, as an infant I loved only the shining Moon, Though the sky is vast, and it’s full of effulgent stars, Appended for Thy children to cherish divine dreams, As I grew young and adult, the world looked fatal, I could see the sky only covered with misty clouds, Lo! the habits turned my life into hellish dreams. So long I longed to get back to my days of infancy, To be cradled in Thy mellifluous songs of lullaby, Yet, the torments of desires shattered me away. Amma, Thou dost day and night for all Thy children, Thy self-less love…

  • Vibrato

Louder and hoarse I call you, all in your thousands of names. However, I hear you snore! nothing else but rub and scrub. My fumed throat gets soared. Sound cracks under my tongue. I seek a word to wake you up. Wonder would you ever hear? I know not the right diction. Words feeble are illegible. My lips dry by constant chant. But, you never answered once. One day I filled my soul full; words, poured my heart out in pain. Called you all through breathe, sleepless until daybreak. Then I heard a feeble hum, sounding right from my core.…

  • Be My Butterflies

Uprooted tree of life, suspended spreads wider In my heart of hearts, grows a lively branch, a branch full of silky buds. Intricate creation pulsates. I see you all; as cute butterflies, in best of divine designs, blooms in exotic patterns, shading pink in my heart. spread, smear, pollen of love. Flutter on wings of truth n’ faith, Be my colourful butterflies always. Every hiss of breathe I listen. Every tiny foot fall tickles my belly. Every thought passes through, making me aware n’ awake in you. Fomenting pains let me hug life. When colours fade n’ hues dry. Feeble listless wings…

  • Her Blessing

Her Blessing I have hung her image in my heart And from my mouth, her name sung She held me when I was torn apart And guided me since my start In a meadow of light she first became Her heart connected to those days When man walked with gods the same So she embraced the emanating rays And decided to embark in her place To build the golden gate of grace Blessed is the day she was born Unknown to her father an angel was known While she was miraculously entering our would Angels sung her praises with words…

  • My Journey is going on and on

Days are falling like leaves of tree, My journey is still going on and on. Know nothing from where did I start! Know nothing where am I going! O Mother! My legs are weak to walk near Thee, Hands are tied can’t hold Thy feet, Eyes are swollen that hides Thou vision, My journey is going on and on… Renunciate is the one who renounces Thee; Says a yogi, which is so true. Struggles the mind for worldly toys, Searching happiness which it never knew. Shadowing the world and putting into sleep, Stood the ego in the path of gleam.…

  • little tear drop

Slowly and unwillingly it fell, the li’l tear drop. and, followed many in a stream, They all gathered at Her feet. and, each held a piece, of my ruptured heart. They knew no  boundless joy, Nor the hymns in Her praise. Only ,the solitude of the heart, and the farway cry. saying silently, as they fell, How much  my heart longed though never said. Unfolding the silent longing, unspoken fears and desires, they came to tell Her, the love of the heart. Shall She not listen, to the  ruddy drops of my sad heart? -arya

  • Dreamy Existence

The inseparable twins of good and evil Carved on the canvas of existence, Are mere flashes in the mirror of mind That let you know the false existence. You dream and you don’t know you are in dream, As the dreamer can never know he is in dream, The Great Master lets you know you are in dream And that awakens you from dreamy existence. The inseparable twins of beauty and ugliness Carved on the canvas of existence, Are mere flashes in the mirror of mind That let you know the false existence. Ma, you append tenderly the waters of…

  • Super Mother

God created this magnificent world and then thought by, Why not add the beauty, and so hung the stars on the sky, He went on, with the smiling mountains, dancing trees, the land and sea The lovely animals, chirping birds, blooming flowers, then you and me. He felt that this world should remain good and peaceful forever, And so came down as a blessing in disguise, in the form of Mother. He knew a Mother would hold a special place, And bring his reflection on everyone’s face, A mother will walk an extra mile, Just to see her children wear…
