Yesterday the mass of devotees had already gathered in full force for Amma’s darshan, bhajans and cultural programs. Amma gave darshan to as many devotees as possible and then stopped for bhajans. The hall was completely packed by that time. Amma sang the following bhajans:
- Manasa Chora Radha Krishna
- Vyathayariyikkan
- Bara Gopala (Kannada)
- Prapanchamengum
- Makaranda Madhurya (Telugu)
- Om Namah Shivaya
- Oru Nalum Piriyatto
- Mere Hridya Sree Ram Base (Hindi)
- Sarvavyapiyai (Tamil)
- Jai Jai Janani Jai Ho Teri (hindi)
This morning the hall by the engineering college was completely overflowing with devotees. The hall must be one of the biggest I’ve ever seen. Highlight of the morning was of course the Pada Puja, which is magnificent to watch providing you can manage to find a decent spot which I must confess I didn’t really manage to find this year. But in any case the shakti and devotion in the hall was so strong that I felt it entering me nevertheless. During Amma’s satsang I was squashed in the crowd and had somewhat of a hard time concentrating on it. I guess I will have to read it on the web despite having been present. One point I caught was about how important being happy is since happiness opens the heart and through the open heart grace enters.
At present Amma is giving darshan and cultural performances are going on. It is one more amazing feat from Amma to hug everyone present here. I would estimate that there are around 100 000 – 150 000 people present. Time to go back and see if I can find a place somewhere on the stage. That might not be so easy but with grace I may succeed.
