No. We should figure out how to care for all the people that are already here. Even by cloning other animals, we are neglecting the ones that already exist. It probably costs more to clone one person than I make in a year. That money could be spent much more wisely.

No. The person being cloned may not have control over what will be done with their copy. The clone could be used or trained in ways to harm others or the environment. Amma sees all and knows all, so if Amma said “My daughter you should be cloned” then I would do it! They are also cloning organs for donors so I would not mind if someone used my DNA to clone retinas for a blind person…but this is just one example.
