  1. A bit scary… But, yes, why not? It will simply be like for twins… The soul doesn’t get cloned, no? Each individual will keep his unique mixture of tendencies, karma and destiny. In these only God is involved…

  2. No. In my limited mind I can’t see how being cloned would help anyone or anything attain spiritual realization.

  3. I don’t know exactly what to say… If the other one would be more selfless & only for service of the world .. its fine. But let Amma decide whether it is necessary or not …

  4. It’s enough to just look at myself in the mirror everyday….

  5. NO NO NO does not Amma say there is overpopulation in the world!!! Why on earth then cloning, its enough waste on research how to reach the moon & other planets. Billions are spent on these studies while many people in the world starve in the mists of economical problems. Then the cloning business? Once again NO!

  6. i would allow my cells to be cloned, if the body cells could be of benefit to sustain the life of someone else. Would look at it, like donating blood and let it go, for even if a body with exact replica could be produced it would not be “who i am”.

  7. Accept with love and surrender Amma’s will – cloned or not – all -ONE…

  8. Noooooo. I have compassion! One “me” is enough in this world! 😉
…but seriously it’s an interesting question…shows us how much we are identified with the body and the mind…and it is a bit scary but they can clone only the body… so it would be like having a twin…

  9. No. We should figure out how to care for all the people that are already here. Even by cloning other animals, we are neglecting the ones that already exist. It probably costs more to clone one person than I make in a year. That money could be spent much more wisely.

  10. I dont think i will accept it, unless it is an order from Amma directly. If it was up to me to decide, then ‘No’. When the soul is what “exists”, what difference will another living ‘look alike’ body make?? On a lighter note, i don’t think my parents and relatives can live through the shock of another version of me running around the globe. 🙂

  11. Amma says to accept everything…. So I am happy to accept being cloned with a big smile!….

  12. No way !!
I don’t want another “me”. One is more than enough trouble for this world. 😉

  13. I asked this question to my wife if she wants to see one more of me. She said one mistake is enough. So the answer is: “NO, no, no!”

  14. No! One of me is bad enough!
But, a question: Wouldn’t the clone not have no soul? Or would he have a normal soul like people who have a normal birth?

  15. When God makes, each of us is unique; when man makes it will probably be a disaster. Man must not try to be God (without realizing God). I’d have to ask Amma what to do on this one.

  16. Well yes but only on the condition that the clone would be more eager to do seva than i ever was and never miss an opportunity to serve Amma with all his heart.

  17. I can see no reason why I should be cloned.

I’m reminded of a quote from Gandhi: “I claim to be no more than an average person with less than average ability. I have not the shadow of a doubt that any man or woman can achieve what I have if he or she would make the same effort and cultivate the same hope and faith.”

It seems unlikely to me that cloning people is part of God’s plan for bringing everyone back to him/her. But then again, I know nothing!

  18. Yes and No. No because, like the others, one of me is enough. But definitely Yes to becoming a clone of Amma. Isn’t that what She is doing with each of us? Cloning Herself so that we can be Her Hands and Feet and Arms and Heart?

  19. Scientifically, cloning gives the possibility of babies born with a hole in the heart to have a new heart, people without hands to have hands, people who have broken hips to have new hips..the choice is easy when I imagine myself to be those people.
So I think we should leave the philosophy involved in this to Amma and support scientists whole heartedly. If Amma doesn’t want it I will eat my words.

  20. Whatever Amma says, that’s what I will do.

  21. Yes …with respect to the experimentation part of the deal – I would like to know in a given situation how my clone would react versus my reaction… that would be fun 🙂 If it turns that we see, hear, feel and respond the same way… it would be great as I can literally receive two hugs from Amma in place of one 🙂
It would be nice to have another me to do all the good things that I can do to try and achieve Amma’s vision…

  22. clone clone clone

  23. Vishnisatyan can be only one vishnisatyan in this world, as each & every one is unique in Amma’s creation. So there is no question of Clone. That is nature’s way. And above all one is more, more than enough………Amma will be troubled too much if there is a clone for me. I dont want to give that trouble to Amma.

  24. No as I believe there is only one ME and no cloning can copy THAT

  25. No, I wouldn’t. My body is not worth cloning, and the soul cannot be cloned.

  26. Another me? Then AMMA will have double the problems to solve.

  27. no…..even nature never produces same things. i don’t think its right to clone….

  28. How can one clone the special conditioning of my mind and vasanas etc etc. That would just result in me who is already present. Also why would someone want to multiple copies of the same person. Isn’t one good/bad enough 🙂

  29. Better not to ask such a question because of the alarming rate of orphans, child abuse, child prostitution, mal-nutrition, child labour and exploitation and what not……….

Better let’s think of being good to ourselves and others first……..

  30. As antonio said…sure!..why not ?
I’ll let him do my job and go do something else :o)

  31. Everything is perfect the way it is. Everytime Mankind tries to “improve’ things we simply move the problem to another place in this world; we truly do not improve things.
Why Clone? Are you trying to improve your prarabda karma? You cannot actively remove your suffering.

  32. Body perishes, Soul is immortal. – cannot clone soul.

  33. Cloning is an odd thing…
Though making an exact replica of an individual’s physical features is possible, I think its impossible to duplicate anything else because individuals are unique. There can never be another exactly like me!

  34. Never.!.Because,even I can’t bare my Ego.I think others also having the same mentality to me.So what to say about “MY EGO SQUARED” ?

  35. sure; why not?

  36. If it is do good then it is ok..but i dont think it will do some good and so i wont allow…

  37. Umm.. I guess cloning is not that bad as I won’t have to go to school and I will be able to be with AMMA all the time…
I wonder if scientific research will be ahead enough to make my clone smarter… (^_^)

  38. Talking to myself: Will the clone inherit all my karmas too? Or is it a soul from the astral world that enters the body that is cloned and has its own karmas? This would mean 2 souls with identical bodies, which is like the identical twins. There are so many identical twins, so I’d say YES no harm in cloning, but, the responsibility of creating humans in the experimental lab could create many unknown problems In which case NO! Final word NO!

  39. Whatever my AMMA desires, she is almighty

  40. i dont think its worth bringing another one of me into this world ..but yesss can Amma please please create a clone of Herself? ..one Amma for each of Her Children ..the same Amma inside out? can you pleeeeeeease Amma, be with me as my own Darling Mother before my eyes eating drinking sleeping working walking talking leading me by Your hand on this longggggg path physically instead of hiding inside my heart??????? Amme Sharanam!

  41. Not by human effort but God must be making clones and we have no choice about that. I am sure there have been, are and will be others like me.

  42. No. The person being cloned may not have control over what will be done with their copy. The clone could be used or trained in ways to harm others or the environment. Amma sees all and knows all, so if Amma said “My daughter you should be cloned” then I would do it! They are also cloning organs for donors so I would not mind if someone used my DNA to clone retinas for a blind person…but this is just one example.

  43. No way !!
    I don’t want another jayashree.Sorry

  44. I don’t much know much about it.But in my understanding i don’t like it.I remember a word of Lord that There is nobody like me.”I am the only one”

  45. if will back on cloned period as in past universes,
I hope to serve God also in that time.
