Landing of a desire
When I had a deep desire to give water to the ashramite with wings (the eagle), I didn’t know what was in store for me.
The other day I’d seen some Brahmacharis giving water to our friend (who is a nightmare for some since he / she snatches food from their plates). I thought then I should also feed it one day.
So today morning I was asking one Brahmachari when and how I could do this. He said when the eagle comes and sits in its usual place by the side of the dining hall I could feed it. I kept that in my mind.
I had to deliver a satsang at 9:15am. I went to the stage. Lo and behold! Our little friend is on one of the chairs as if waiting for a darshan token. I prostrated in front of Amma’s photo and sat on the stage. I started chanting Om. I was only half way through and over the mic, the audience heard my shriek. On my head was our flying friend. It was quite happy to have landed perfectly and didn’t seem to go. I slowly looked up, not daring to drive it away. Very soon it started picking at my hair (what little is there on my head). At that time luckily Brahmachari Krishna came to my rescue and drove it away.
Strange indeed are Amma’s ways of fulfilling one’s desires.

This story is so funny…thank you it made me laugh a lot…
a wonderful experience ! yes indeed…AMMA knows each and every thought that passes thru our mind, each and every action that we perform……we should be aware of each thought that comes to us and every action that we perform….
Divine are the ways of the Lord. We are in Amma. So Amma is always aware of every single thing in this world. May we live with this awareness at all times. May these incidents go deep into our psyche and make us aware of our true goal at all times. May we chant the Lord’s name at all times and dedicate everything to the Lord. Amma’s grace is always with us. May we become the true vessel to partake of Amma’s grace. Om Namaha Shivaya.
What a nice story! And how bravely you sat still with the bird on your head. For some reason it reminded me of how Bombay Achchan sat in blissful prayer while Amma played tabla on his head and sang Bonda Krishna.
Emmanidathil Ellam Nadakkuthamma Unthan Aadanilal. Amma Sharanam.
it is very special to realize that AMMA is listening to all our thoughts, through this small story/proof. The video clip helped us to see this as if we were in the Ashram.
Iswara Leela ithellam ulakil

amma You are consciousness. You can be experienced only with an empty mind. that is shunya state of mind. other than silence what could I say about you.
if i try it will be in the mind’s level. silence is beyond the mind, heart, body etc…
Thanks for sharing this wonderful experience, what a blessing indeed !!
