Prasanna is a 47 year old devotee from Thripunithura, Kerala, who narrates her heartwarming story. She is the last daughter among the five girls her parents struggled to bring up. Some 35 years ago her mother had heard about a lady whom people called ‘Amma’ and also about Her ‘Krishna & Devi Bhava.’ Prasanna’s mother decided to seek Amma’s Darshan & came along with her brother. During the same time, Amma told her devotees that She was awaiting two special children of Hers today!! Prasanna’s mother & uncle came for the Darshan. Her mother has prayed that all that she yearns for in life is that she is able to bring up all her five daughters well in the society and get them married in good homes. Years went on, Prasanna and her sisters were married.

Since childhood Prasanna dreamt of playing with white buffaloes, she dreamt of talking to them, telling them her life’s sorrows, desires, dreams. In the year 2000, Prasanna and her husband visited Amma. The first thing she saw at the gate was a white buffalo!! Forgetting that she was married now and she had children, Prasanna ran like a little girl and played with the white buffalo. Later on, when she met Amma, the first question came, “are you satisfied now, after playing with your white buffalo?” Prasanna was wonderstruck!!!! Speechless!! Motionless!!…next Amma asked her husband, “where are your kids…why didn’t you get them along?” He replied they could not get them this time and they shall bring them next time onwards.

Since then, Prasanna and her family have made it a point to participate in every birthday celebration of Amma in their own little way, this time she is involved in cutting vegetables in the kitchen. She credits Amma for eliminating all her sorrows & keeping her satisfied in life. Like it goes ‘sarva vignopa shantaye’….meaning ‘all her obstacles have been eliminated’!!
