Amma in Blue
29 November 2008
San Ramon
Swamji was singing Jai Jai Satguru when the curtains opened at 9:10pm. Amma was absolutely stunning in a sky blue sari. Her face was beaming – a very peaceful and content beam. Swamini waived the camphor flame while we all sang Arati and darshan began.
Those who ventured down to the dining hall for dinner found the Ashram shrouded in a fine mist. Fog had settled down on the Ashram – yet inside Amma had begun lifting the fog of maya from all her children – one by one, hug by hug.
During the evening, various departments have been cleaning up and packing up to put everything into storage until Amma’s next visit in 2009.
It’s now 6:20 am Saturday morning. The fog has lifted. Dawn is hinting on the horizon. Amma has been giving darshan for over 9 hours straight and the letters are at P6.
Sulma just finished. I think the girls are singing now. Not sure – can’t hear them from where I’m typing.
No idea of how many weddings, first feedings,
Who knows when it will end. 11am, 12 noon, 1pm?
Sri Pati
We had a deep desire to see Amma during Devibhava! Your words are filled with Amma’s love and they instantly take us so close to Amma….! Also with Amma’s blessings, we were able to host satsang at our home yesterday. We had Peacock Green silk sari with purple-blue border for Amma’s Altar..! Amma’s picutre in that Altar gave us all the vision of “Merciful and Radiant Goddess”. We all could feel Amma’s presence while singing bhajans….!
“Jai Ma”
Did amma say anything about the terrorist attacks in Mumbai???!!! I hope there is some special prayer carried out for those that died in this mindless violence.
Thank you Sri for your wonderful posts! It was almost like I was there!
My beautiful MA ,,,,,,it is always overwhelming to see your shiny face and fell in your arms,i just want to look at you with 100 eyes.i never been lucky to sit close to you i pray for that ………..
Aren’t we like the Gopis asking Uddhava ” What did Krishna say about this? Did he say anything about what is happening in India” .Let us remember that Amma , the all knowing one is aware of each and everything and is praying for all of us..Jai Ma
Amma was wearing a deep blue sari when she was in Chicago this year (Devi Bhava). My mother says that Amma almost looked like Kali! Any comments on that??? I think that is true!!!!
