Her Blessing
Her Blessing
I have hung her image in my heart
And from my mouth, her name sung
She held me when I was torn apart
And guided me since my start
In a meadow of light she first became
Her heart connected to those days
When man walked with gods the same
So she embraced the emanating rays
And decided to embark in her place
To build the golden gate of grace
Blessed is the day she was born
Unknown to her father an angel was known
While she was miraculously entering our would
Angels sung her praises with words
“Alas, a star child was born
One that will hold humanity in its turn
And teach the meaning of the word:
Love, now known as the hugging phoenix-bird”
In a silent village close by the sea
The sky above resonating with glee
For the loving being finally understood
That love is more then just a word
It’s a bond between you and me
Creating the universal family
THAT! Is the true reality!
A poem is made of words sewn together
But none can mimic the spiritual pleasure
For whenever I see her smiling face
I get a feeling down in my base
My heart eventually in a race
To mimic my mother’s grace
And get me into a meditative state
To awaken my own guru of fate
It will never be late
To grasp her hand and look at that face,
That will definitely destroy without a trace,
my love for material gain and estate.
I would like to thank all the ages
Though her existence was not a first
She came bearing the words of sages
And making our heart finally thirst
I strive to be in her likeness
Mother, let your son of fourteen
Be the vessel of your light to be seen
To light up a second sun
I ask you to be at my side
To hold my hand and fly
And wave the old Patrick good-bye
For in your love I am renewed
In your light, I am re-sewn
I give up and bow down to you
With your might, I will be anew
May my mind be a universal tool
From your son, I love you, my guru

Wow ! It’s coming straight from the heart. Dear Patrick, Amma Bless you always..
simply superb ! do share more patrick.
Amazing, it is as if I am not reading a poem dedicated to our Divine Amma but going through your feelings for Divine MAA. It is so natural and I have no words to appreciate.
May AMMA shower Her infinite blessings upon you, Patrick! May there be more people like you!
