  1. For me the main Dharma is to be a witness. Just to try to be a witness to all the happenings around you, then slowly we will realize, that its not us that is working. it is the work that is making us work.
Life has its own pace, its free will, let it work on you. just try to relax, without any struggle. and TRY to Enjoy LIFE…. maybe one day i may realize that there is more to life…

  2. Be yourself.

    practice?

    be yourself.

  3. The ‘Thought of the Moment’ on the web just now is: “Dharma is doing the required actions at the right time in the proper manner.” —Amma.
The problem for me is that I don’t always have the discrimination to recognize what the required actions, the right time, and the proper manner, are – or sometimes I recognize them but don’t act because of laziness or fear.
For me the main way I ‘practice this in my normal daily existence’ is to keep trying to overcome this laziness and lack of discrimination… which comes easily when I am around Amma but is much harder in worldly life.

  4. To be and flow with the currents until your karma is washed away. To study the scriptures, to help others and to not give in to feeling depressed even when others are not seeing the good in you.

  5. Dharma includes Swadharma and Paramadharama.
Swadharma leads to the material happiness…
Paramadharama leads to the Ultimate goal of life…

  6. One must realize there is nothing to do.
    When this is… Then the beginning… begins…
And we are all little babies gazing at wonder at all things around us, for we are ‘No Thing’. And there is nothing to say, act out or do but, Just Be.

  7. To describe about Dharma of human life one has to follow the Scriptures. In the Kali Yuga, it would be difficult for common man. Since I find it difficult, I am trying to follow the instructions of Amma given to me through situations. As She promised to me, She is there with me always to guide me through the right path. I cannot to express it, one has to experience it. Amma Sharanam.

  8. The main Dharma in our life is to know God or Self.
In this yuga, this is possible only by following our Sadguru AMMA.

  9. To me, the main Dharma of human life is to know God, and also be yourself, and that’s what I try to do.

  10. To be aware of God’s presence in everyone, everything is the main dharma of our life. each and every action we perform is because of God’s infinite grace. everyday i try to be aware of HIs power flowing in my hands, in my eyes, in everything i do. to know that God is the truth of our existence is the dharma of our life.

  11. To do whatever is necessary to remove the blocks to Divine Love. To be Holy helpful and to be Holy harmless. To allow wholly the Divine in and through as extension. To have one’s hand glued to Amma’s plow and to know that to be the highest form of praise, thanksgiving and joy.

  12. Dharma to me is Love – from, and in all – including myself. Recognising that holding/ hugging this dharma requiries practice is how to begin practicing, in my humble opinion.

  13. Well, the true duty of a human is to reach God. I guess what I’m doing at the moment is going to school and getting my education so I can go to college, become a doctor, work in Amma’s ashram and then eventually reach the goal of living with Amma in Amritapuri!

  14. Truth. Work for the truth. Pray for the truth. Ultimately realise the truth.

  15. Before meeting Amma, I was trying to figure this out, after meeting Amma the one Dharma I can think of is to live my life according to Amma’s instructions. It’s often tough to figure out what this means in daily life, but not ignoring my conscience at all times in every thought word and deed could be the first step…

  16. The main dharma in human life is to practically adopt the teaching in life. In this connection I would like to narrate a short story which was told by our beloved AMMA: When the Pnadavas were learning in Swami Kripachari’s ashram he taught a lesson “Always speak truth” “Learn patience”. Everyone except Yudhistra repeated their lessons and told the Swami that they have learnt. When Yudhistra was questioned why he didn’t learn he said that he was not able to learn. Swami Kripachari got angry and started beating him why he could not learn the easy lessons. Yudhistra kept quiet and tolrated the beatings. When Swamiji came in normally he asked Yudhistra why he did not revolt as he was son of a King and he could do anything and really did not have any grudge. At this Yudhistra told him that I will not lie, for a moment I was angry too but I thought I have to learn to have patience. At this Kripachari got emotional and told that son you have learnt both your lessons practically. I am proud of you. the main crux of this story is that whatever we are taught by our beloved Sadguru Amma we should not only read and memorise it but we should display in our actions too in our practical life.

  17. It is said that a to take a human birth is a rarity. Even rarer is to have a spiritually minded disposition. Still rarer is to meet a true guru.
Even so, knowing one’s true dharma in this lifetime is difficult. Then it’s more difficult to follow it – even when the Divine steers us in that direction.
after having come through so many births and to finally reach the feet of the Divine Mother, and with all our short-comings, the only thing left to do is to hold tightly and let Her take care of the rest.

  18. to be her… always.

  19. Human Dharma to me is to keep remembering God through surrendering to the Guru.

How I really practice this I guess Amma only knows. But from my standpoint I am trying to clean my mind at every available opportunity through prayer, meditation and through personal experiences I have with the world.

  20. The main Dharma in life should be “Total Surrender” to Amma…

The best way to practice this would be by “Accepting” everything…

  21. Main Dharma is to be selfless and to love and serve all… To practice, try and help as many people as you can without any expectations…. surrender every action to the Almighty God…

  22. The first and last Dharma of a human being is to do effort to reach our ultimate Goal, to abide in our Pure self. Also in day to day life each has got his/her swadharma: Father got his father’s Dharma, husband got husband’s dharma, doctor has his professional dharma etc. like that.

  23. In Sreemad Bhagavadam Dharma is compared to a bull (Dharma Devan) and it is said that the four legs of the Dharma devan are Satyam (Truth), Shoujyam (Cleanliness – physical and mental), Daya (Kindness), Danam (sufficiency). So in order to keep Dahrma in our Day to day life we have follow these four values (virtues).

  24. To be aware of God’s presence in everyone, everything in our daily life. Do selfless service and practically adopt Amma’s teaching in daily life .
