International Pop Star Melanie Safka Incorporates Amma’s Teachings Melanie Safka’s latest song ‘Motherhood of Love’ incorporates the teachings of Mata Amritanandamayi Devi. This area needs Amma’s influence

A real reason to go
I am proofing a book for my friend Laura,who met Amma in the eighties and told me that if I had any opportunity to see her I should. I went to Albuquerque June 26 to the Hyatt Regency, where Amma was giving darshan, and now I want to realize my dream since childhood of going to India, because now I have a real reason to go. I cried my heart out for six days
I saw Amma,s Picture in a magazine, titled Nova. It said Amma was coming to Fremantle in Perth. I did not know who Amma was,I had never heard of Amma, but I instinctively knew I had to go and see this Beautiful Lady. I am so happy I did. After being with Amma, and getting two hugs in two days, I cried my heart out for the next six days. I don’t know what happened to me! Can someone please explain ?
