The Art of a Master
Three days before Amma left for the South India tour, She surprised us on a quiet Friday by coming down from her room for an afternoon of rice threshing seva. Apparently the ashram has some farm land and this was the first harvest. I was lucky enough to be there to see her demonstrating and teaching bramarcharinis and western devotees. Translation Error
It was one of Amma’s public programs in Mumbai, I was fortunate enough to do ‘Line seva’. I liked that seva because it brought legitimacy for me being nearer Amma and also gave the opportunity to do some thing little useful. I was asking the question to the throngs of people who came to see Amma, what language they spoke. I asked this question in multiple languages. A Polishing Walk
Some of Amma’s children have very unique ways of reaching Amma’s arms. Devotees Dream Day
Yesterday was a devotees dream day. First Amma came out to thresh rice with everyone, which was great fun. After that she took everyone to the beach for meditation, after which it was time for bhajans, which were very special. Sanctifiying by touch, by hug
A family back home from Amritapuri found a child asking another about Amma. Okay tell me what is Amma doing? The one who had just returned from Amritapuri said without a pause Amma is sanctifying everybody. Obviously the child had seen Amma giving darshan for long hours… Whenever he was not sleeping he had seen Amma giving darshan, sanctifiying humans by touch, by hug.
