French Fries in Munich Recently at the Munich program, little Aikyam came up to Amma for his morning hello and kiss. Amma looked at him fondly and asked if he had eaten. Then she told him to wait and sent for something. When it arrived, Amma put something on a plate and offered it to Aikyam. It turned out to be French fries! The Community Health Centers at Hajin and Magam have regular medical staff, but thousands of people showed up when they heard our team was there to supplement their work. Organized relief in the midst of chaos in Kashmir
Today I joined the Amrita Hospital (Amrita Institute of Medical Science) Jammu and Kashmir Medical Relief Team who have already been working here four days. We set up at a small clinic in the rural village of Naidkhai, Bandipora District, Kashmir. This clinic is normally served by a single doctor for a population of 40,000. The crowd quickly surged as we arrived. Each clinic room was packed with up to three doctors giving consultations simulaneously. Days of Grace
