    Srikala, an ardent devotee of Amma has come to Amritapuri as a volunteer for the Vidyamritam beneficiaries from Wayanad. For every 25 students who come to Amritapuri, there will be a local co-coordinator; Srikala helps take care of the girls from Wayanad, while her husband is looking after the boys. Their little son has accompanied them. Their financial condition is not very different from those students who are receiving scholarship from Mata Amritanandamayi Math.  Her husband, Radha Krishnan is part of the “Tozhill Orapu” scheme of the Kerala government.   • To heal the pain of people

    7th grader Anandu S from Clappana differs from other boys of his age in every sense. He visualizes the days of glory when he grows up into a famous actor like Mukesh, but also dreams about healing people by becoming a doctor.   • Reflecting confidence and courage

    The 14 year old Gautham.S.Kumar stood there to answer our interview without any fear and shyness. His courage is amazing at this tender age which astonished us. He was one of the finalists in the elocution competition and was pretty confident about winning the prize. This young and dynamic kid is studying in 9th class in NSS High school.   • From tsunami to sambar

  • Amritasya Putrah Vayam

  • The mega dias
