    This afternoon, while on stage, there was a bit of commotion near Amma.   The photographer and videographer were nudging for a clear view of two young children who were coming up for darshan.  As I was near the chair, I managed to get a close look at the scene.    The boy and girl were adorable, smiling and posing for the camera with Amma.  Their parents were beaming with joy.  Instantly, I realized what I was watching.   • The Fullness of Life

    Some people become devotees because of a strong devotional connection that gets built between them and their Guru or God. Some become spiritual in their beliefs and ideals because of the elevated words of wisdom and knowledge that they find in sacred texts or hear from their Guru.   • For survivors and victims

    A poem for survivors and victims of recent Indonesian earthquake Sometimes there are not enough tears to shed for others who are suffering through so much. What can we do comfort those who lost so much. Keeping our hearts focused on sending them  peace I believe will help. Praying that they will find comfort.   • From tsunami to sambar

    26 sep 2009 I had an opportunity to interact with four of our staff from Ettimadai Campus. Sri Balashanmugam (Office Assistant, Accounts Department,         Amrita School of Engineering), Sri Senthil kumar (Admistrative Assistant, ASB ),     Sri Loganathan (Senior Assistant, Student Welfare) and Mr. Dharmalingam (Hostel Incharge) These devotees of Amma had rendered voluntary service to the victims of the deadly tsunami that occurred on December 26, 2004.  They were in charge of a section of the Nagapattnam Relief Camp in Tamil Nadu.  Here is what they had to share with all of us.
