Hands Stretched

Millions of hands stretched,
to reach you from all the corners of the world.

Some cry for help,
some to touch you,
Some to feel you.

Everyone wants something.
Some want your love,
Some your fondle.

All want your attention,
a little sweet word from your mouth.
Some want their tears wiped on your robe!

Oh mother I love those smiling eyes of yours.
May I squat near you always?
Just to watch you in silence.
May I feel my thoughts caressed,
by the Grace of your look
