Newcomers in Amrita Gokula
Sunday the 3rd of March saw the arrival of twelve new members of four families into the existing fold of cows in Amrita Gokula, the ashram cowshed by Amma’s cottage. The cows came travelling a long distance from Mysore Amrita Vidyalaya, where they were being tended till now. Very early in the morning
Now a days, the naked banyan tree by the kayal has special bloom all over its body. See the picture. They are not its regular foliage but, but… birds! Birds that roost every night. The black birds and the white birds. Soon after archana, when the ether is still gray, go to the juice stall area and look up. Three Triveni Sangamas

After the momentous speech at the inauguration of Swami Vivekananda’s 150th birthday celebration, and the historical event at the Delhi Red fort area, Amma soon returned her attention and time to us, Her darling children travelling with Her, and Her Delhi devotee children. Ham ashram ke ayudh bacche hai
All these years it was a common sight on the program site to see a whole lot of Hindi dialect speaking families from neighborhood of the vasant kunj ashram, sitting, squatting, squeaking and spitting all over the dining area. Spirituality has solutions for all the problems of the human world, Amma has reiterated this message many times in Her satsangs. A drop out from the tour
As i travelled homeward, ie to Amritapuri, from Mangalore, once again tried to take a look at Amma’s Indian tour from yet another perspective… How does a drop out from the tour feel? The previous day, even as the program ended around 3-30 am, with five groups performing padapuja to Sadguru Amma, and Amma’s mellifluous singing of Bandalo, i was feeling something choking in my throat.
