Question 214:
On 27th we are celebrating Amma’s 59th Birthday. Which of Amma’s generous gifts to all touches your heart the most:
The unlimited motherly love & patience offered in her Darshan?
The impressive humanitarian services offered by her mission?
Or her spiritual guidance and teachings?
Please make your answer brief and clear (maximum 5 or 6 lines).
AMMA is the Eternal Giver. Apart from all that SHE bestows, SHE has been giving almost all of HER life and its moments to the world! Darshan is the very epitome of AMMA’s boundless love and compassion towards suffering humanity. The precious moments one gets to be in that motherly embrace and receive HER kiss are cherished by all HER children. Caressing and consoling each one with the love of a mother and the patience of Mother Earth,AMMA continues giving Darshan oblivious to extraneous factors and neglectful of HER own comfort. And yet, one feels one has not had enough. One waits for the next embrace…the next kiss…the next opportunity for AMMA’s Darshan! That,for me, would be the gift of several lifetimes put together!
Amma’s unlimited motherly love and spiritual guidance to all which has changed the lives of many in this world, positively.
One definitely cannot just particularly mention a single gift that AMMA has offered. Its indeed a “Precious gift” that AMMA has offered to the humanitarian through her darshan , services and her guidance. The sacrifice Amma (sitting for darshan for long hours with the smile on her face and listening to the needs/ problems of her children ) has made to uplift her children even while forgetting her own comfort is tremendous. in my case, it is just her. she is and because that, life becomes worth too be lived. otherwise, i wouldn’t know anything, not even what life is for. seeing and having amma is having an idea of being one.
that since her difficult childhood – she served all with love – chanting sincerely her mantra and or thinking of God constantly, whilst acting with shradda (awareness) – something we all can do

As we, a Universe burning alive, scorched and hysterical… flood toward her and crash against her feet… bones now crushed to star dust… as in banjans, Amma tosses us up, reshapes us and gathers us in her arms…Weeping for our pain, witnessing our courage and protecting our every step.
Amma’s uniqueness and greatness is that she combines all of these extraordinary things!!
But to answer the question: If I have to choose one gift it will be ‘her unlimited motherly love & patience offered in her Darshan’. Because the humanitarian work can be done by others organizations, as well as providing guidance in words. But who has ever spend so much time touching, consoling, healing, inspiring and uplifting people?? …and through this provide guidance through her living example?
She is the gift that manifests itself according to the need of time, places and people, sometimes as a Guru, and also as a Divine Mother or a humanitarian.. And it was a very blessed and happy day when She came back for us to assist us in crossing Maya. Running the last mile into Her lap is indescribable.
Which aspect of Pure Unconditional Love touches my heart more???PURE LOVE cannot be broken down to mere actions, so it is hard to answer. Being physically embraced by limitless pure unconditional love is truly a rare gift that unfolds within, endlessly, naturally flowing.
Amma herself is a big gift for the entire humanity and to all living and non living things in all the worlds. I am unable to express my feelings in words, but all I can say is she is simply amazing, because she is showering LOVE which is the most invaluable gift, upon all of us all the time. Amma is the greatest asset to the entire world.

Both at the Micro level(energizing hug) and also at the macro level, unthinkable and daring humanitarian activities is the hallmark that differentiates and elevates AMMA as an incomparable spiritual leader from the great land of Bharat. From a teaching perspective Amma’s message is always very powerful and subtle and it needs a keen intellect to pick up the message.
Ammachi made my life to look into me. Her Words are not just the words alone. From Her deeper Experience … which touches my Heart. I always feel that She is within me and with me. I try to follow her but fail in many times. She Herself is Love and a wonderful Master. I am gifted to know Her and I pray to Her.
I love to feel like I am safely tucked away under Her arm, like a baby bird beneath her mother’s wing. I love the depth of Her words and the effort required to unravel their mysterious meaning. I love that I never tire of seeing Her beautiful form. And I love that She easily found me amidst the dark clouds of maya and that She is now taking me home. I love all these gifts and lots more:)
Holy Mother herself is a gift to this world.Her breathe,her sounds, her songs, her silence, he compassion, veeryhting is a gift.
oops, only thinking of what i personally appreciate….thinking of Her gifts to others, I love to watch Her love everyone and I especially love watching Her reach out to the poor and sick and how wonderful She is with children.
We need each of these forms
to achieve “Formless”.
These forms Amma puts in place to help us.
She is Omniscient and is Formless.
These forms are gifts to us.
All that will achieve with these gifts
is always there for us.
This is the infinite love of Amma.
Amma”s tireless darshan till the last person is really a wonder. AMMA is a greatest GIFT to the ENTIRE UNIVERSE.
Amma’s gift to me, personally, was that she lifted me out of a life of darkness and re-established me in the light of her love and guidance. For our world, she brings light and kindness to all that she meets. Her love is infectious.
Amma. Everything She does and who She is touches my heart. Watching her, working for her, hearing her singing bhajans, and having the fortune/blessing to be with Her in this life is touching my heart. This is the most precious gift She gives me and may I be able to return this gift by serving Her in this life and grow as a better human being and spiritual being everyday a little more.
Amma’s boundless love flowing during darshan, the compassion…she tires herself out for the benefit of her children. It makes me cry, wonder in awe..looking at the Eternal bundle of love & compassion. SHE is the greatest gift, this world has ever had.

AMMA is the Universal MOTHER-and everything about her is wonderful experience. I do not know what or which facet/aspect of AMMA is most appealing.
Everything about AMMA is total perfection-her angelic face, beauty & SMILE, her Divine HUGS, her boundless energy and interactions with all around her!
Besides this her arms and mind stretches far and wide in the form of humanitarian activities, increasing awareness about environment, education, health care-to speak of only a few!
I, for one has not seen AMMA personally or experienced her hugs; but I have read a great deal about AMMA, impressions of others, seen videos and heard from people who have met HER. Indirectly, I have experienced her DIVINE GRACE on several occasions and this has strengthened me and helped me in my daily work.
Thus, AMMA & everything about her is ALL PERFECTION!

When unconditional love takes the form of a Mother/Guru, everything is a gift. I find everything Amma does/says/teaches/chides/consoles/embraces a gift for me. I am grateful and blessed to see and if possible experience Her.
All three are very important to me. Of these, “The unlimited motherly love & patience offered in Her Darshan” and “Her spiritual guidance and teachings?” stand out for me. It is so difficult to make a choice between the two and if I really had to… I will go with spiritual guidance and teachings. Amma showed me how to detach myself from the objects I loved so much and focus on the living beings and their feelings. She also showed me not to love money so much as not to spend it even for just causes. Om Amriteswariye Namah!!
She also showed me that Good can be expressed and done in this Kali yuga which I hesitated for fear of being left out.
AMMA has gifted herself to this Universe.
AMMA’s one smile, one look, one word, one touch, one hug – for that matter every action of AMMA has gifted a meaning to the lives of millions in this Universe.

How can we differentiate all these three?All are interlinked.Amma is The Greatest with lots of motherly love and affection,at human service which in turn guides us all into spiritual progress!!
The trust that Amma has imbibed in me with her spiritual strength, motherly love and humanitarian service is the greatest gift.
Amma. Your exsistence alone illuminates thousands of years of darkness. You have brought at the very least one back into Life.
You are beyond words.
Her unending patience with each of us; Her creating internal transformation in individuals, no matter how slow or how long it takes; Her “merciless” mercy and Her continual reminder of Love, that we ourselves are that love.
The unlimited motherly love & patience offered in her Darshan .. we all are lucky that are born in the era , where we can phyically see and feel amma’s blessing..

All of this at different times..
Even though Amma’s Darshan is the most we all like, as it transforms each one of us and enable us to understand Her teachings and try to practice them in our life, we know that Amma’s physical body is made up of the same 5 elements and hence Her Divine Presence, Bhajans and Sathsangs are alone enough to inspire and keep us going in our path..
She is a personification of MOTHER. Because of that she has unlimited motherly love & patience; and so she does mpressive humanitarian services and as a MOTHER she gives spiritual guidance and teachings to her siblings. So it’s all interconnected and we cannot choose or grade them as 1, 2 or 3.
Are we even qualified to talk about Amma or her greatness. All of us are surely indebted to Amma for all the good things that have happened in our lives since we met her. Thank you so much, Amme. May we become worthy of your everflowing Grace.
Without “Amma” there is nothing…she is the sunshine of our life, the smile on our face, every experience is her gift…the one who is holding our hand every second good or bad…our best friend our mother…on 27th September god decided to come in mother’s form to take care of us….thank you “Amma”.

AMMA’s greatest gift is the gift of Her presence among us. Her presence proclaims the veracity of the scriptures. Her presence proclaims the nature of God as being Love, to the world. Her presence gives succor to the seekers of the world and is the rock upon which tired souls may rest awhile. Her presence is proof of God’s nature as being eternal compassion and love.
