We have reached Q108! The aim was to end this section (started in September 2007) at this 108 Questions Milestone, but due to the request of many, it will now be extended to 180 questions! Amma, the Divine doctor
18 Jan, Coimbatore, Bharata yatra 2009 During Coimbatore program, I happened to stand near Amma. I was watching Amma giving Darshan to the thousands of devotees. Suddenly, Amma asked a man who came for Darshan, about his health. Amma asked him whether he was suffering from diabetes. He said, Yes. Amma was very much worried and asked him to sit near Her. 4 Feb 2009, Amaritapuri i was sitting next to amma when she was giving away the certificates for the 2nd batch of Medical Students in AIMS,who got graduated. That was such an emotional environment … mixed feelings, some crying, amma teasing some young doctors, like… “yedaa, you became a doctor … !!!???” and sudden laughs all around… amma praying before handing over each certificate touching it to her forehead… then she asked the brahmacharis sitting around to ‘make space’ for the incoming DOCTORS! i found, that was such a nice use of words to carefully reminding the new doctors the…

Amma knows everything
Kanyakumari, 28 Jan, Bharata Yatra 2009 At Kanyakumari, Amma had public program for the first time in the land bought by the ashram. As a chief guest to the evening program, Swami Shankaranada from Sri Ramkrishna Tapovan was invited as the chief guest. The Swami looked like small child in front of Amma. Before he gave his speech, the Swami fed Amma with halwa (oily sweet). Addressing the gathering, Swami said that he met Amma in 2007 when She visited Tirunelveli and stayed in Sharada Vidyalaya. Masterpiece of Synchronicity 05.02.2009 Thursday Darshan in the Bhajan Hall At 9 pm I just go on stage and Amma is just eating something, looks like bread or so. Amma really likes it a lot and keeps eating, its quite big. Amma looks to all of us on the ladies side and is asking whether is has sugar made at the café. 04.02.2009 Wednesday Darshan is in the Kali temple. The 2nd batch of Medical Students in AIMS, has graduated and all came to receive their blessings and certificates from Amma. For all the 96 students, a photo was made for each one as they had Darshan and received the certificate. It was so, so sweet. It was so touching. many cried. Now they have to go into different places, maybe not able to see Amma as often and they got so attached to Amma. BaBel: Towards a Re-enchantment
I’ve been coming to Amma’s French center for several years. Time after time, I’ve received more and more, and at some point I felt time had come to give back in some way. There were several of us in that case. Mathieu, Virginie and Sudha were also looking for a way to bring out Amma’s inspiring message in their lives. Did Amma Speak Bulgarian?
I am sure lately more people, especially children, have heard about Bulgaria, particularly thanks to the Harry Potter series. But in general this small European country is not known to many. Having been with Amma for more than ten years, I am pleasantly surprised when I find some of my fellow countrymen in her international family; there are not many. Therefore, for years, when I was asked the language question by Amma’s assistants during darshan, I always replied: “English will be fine”, as I didn’t expect Amma to speak Bulgarian.
