Mananthavadi, Amma’s Anandavadi or the flower garden of Bliss! Verily so. The evening of 17th March saw a heavy downpour on the green hills of the lower western ghats. Manathavadi lies in this belt. In Holi Company —Coloring is fun but getting colored is even more fun! In my childhood, I used to wait for the festival of Holi, because I used to enjoy splashing colors on others. That was the only day we kids were allowed to fool around. We even used to fill small balloons with colored water and then throw them at strangers. Thoughts on the Women s Day
As I sit in my office today, I am wondering about the hype Woman’s day is creating in Delhi. Radio Shows, Sales etc are all eagerly awaiting March 8 to acknowledge the role of Women in today’s society.
