Weekend wilderness
The Project ‘Amma’s Acre’ was blessed by Amma during her visit to the UK, first of its kind and aims to plant 800-1000 native English trees over 3 years. The project took place on the edge of Dartmoor, a National Park in Devon County, South West England. The Amma’s Acre Tree Planting weekend saw youth from various parts of the UK come together for the Love of Mother Nature over the valentine’s weekend. Devoted, Patient crowd at Tanur
It was Amma’s first visit to the city of Tanur, and one could discern the accumulated longing and the enthusiasm of the waiting devotees pouring out on that auspicious occasion. MA Center celebrates 20th anniversary
This past February 14th marked the 20th anniversary of the MA Center and hundreds of people came from all over the US to celebrate. Since 1989, the center has served as the focal point for Amma’s spiritual and humanitarian activities throughout North America. With children in Guam
31 Jan 2009, Guam Island During my stay in Guam, we took a group of children for a nature hike, in order to give them a chance to bond with Mother Nature and value the many blessings that She always showers on us. The name of the place was “Shark’s Hole”, which is a hidden beach about a 1 hour hike from any roads. Only local residents know about this place, but we were fortunate enough to have such a guide. Mothers grace is not just endless
It was snowing when I left home. I had missed Amma after doing seva around the European programs all summer and fall. Also it seemed that work and other commitments would not allow me to join any of the India tours this winter.
