My Journey is going on and on
Days are falling like leaves of tree,
My journey is still going on and on.
Know nothing from where did I start!
Know nothing where am I going!
O Mother! My legs are weak to walk near Thee,
Hands are tied can’t hold Thy feet,
Eyes are swollen that hides Thou vision,
My journey is going on and on…
Renunciate is the one who renounces Thee;
Says a yogi, which is so true.
Struggles the mind for worldly toys,
Searching happiness which it never knew.
Shadowing the world and putting into sleep,
Stood the ego in the path of gleam.
Here I am walking with wavering steps,
My journey is going on and on…
Like a cool breeze in the scorching Sun ,
Thee embraced the little ones.
When the child finds Thou caring hands,
Its joy knew no bounds.
Remembering the joy of a water drop,
When it merges with the ocean and no more a drop,
Unburdening my sorrows in Thou warm embrace,
My journey is going on and on…
– Nimmy K
the journey may be of a thousand miles…
“before i sleep”
but then ultimately,I reach Thee,my Love!!
“Renunciate is the one who renounces Thee;
Says a yogi, which is so true.”
Struggles the mind for worldly toys,
Searching happiness which it never knew.
Nimmy, the two lines in double quotes are not true.
How can one renounce AMMA be a renunciate?
Blessed dear, Not all get such flow of thoughts. JAI MAA !
I suppose Nimmy means Amma as an object of desire. As an object in which one can project any desire. Even the desire for God-realization. Truth is paradoxical for the mind. Beautiful poem. Thank you
great poem!
thank you for saying for many what we can’t pen down. It seems like a long journey. I try to think it is small from the mahatma or universe’s perspective where everything is large/huge or millions and millions of years. From that perspective this could be a short bearable journey.
