Amma arrived at the San Ramon Ashram around 6pm Saturday evening after traveling from Europe where her six week tour just ended.

For the past month or so, the San Ramon Ashram has been buzzing with activity.   Sevites  from all over the Bay Area and the US have been helping to clean the grounds, make repairs, and ensure that the thousands of visitors expected over the next 6 days will have a wonderful experience.

Tour staff, exhausted and hungry from the long trip, are just now filling up on a delicious meal lovingly prepared by local devotees.  Many are catching up with friends whom they haven’t seen in months or even years.   After bhajans in the Temple at 8pm (with local devotees), many will head to their departments to do some last minute unpacking and setting up.  Others will turn in to get some well deserved rest before rising in the early morning to prepare for the program.

The programs begin tomorrow (Sunday) at 10am.

  1. Namah Shivaya for the post Sri Pati. It is as if I am traveling with Amma. With each report I imagine I am there. Thank you so much. Each of these posts mean so much to me. If there is no post well then it is a little piece of the tour I am missing. I am just sitting in the last place where the post was written waiting for the bus! Each post carries me along on the tour staffs journey. Thank you for allowing me to fill up on this delicious blog lovingly prepared by you! Jai Amma, I am truly blessed to have the time and technology to experience this every morning. Thanks to all tour staff, without the likes of which the tour would not be possible. It is your devotion and love that facilitates such quick turnovers and smooth programs. It is also this love and devotion that allows Mothers charitable activities to flourish. You are all an integral part of every hospital, relief effort and charitable activity that takes place around the world. Aum Amriteshwawryai Namaha.
