Mr Babu was born and brought up in Vallikavu, near Amritapuri. He is from a poor background and now he is the owner of a small general store in Vallikavu. He claims “Though I might be poor in material possessions, I am rich in the blessings of Amma”.
For him, Amma is a Goddess and because of Amma’s blessings his two children have a good education, one is doing Master degree and the other Fashion Designing.

He says that he celebrates only one festival in the whole year which is not Vishu nor Onam nor Diwali the traditional festivals in Kerala, but AMMA’s Birthday. Whenever he is in trouble, Amma gives him a solution.
