Question
Q1: You would do if you became God
Here is the first question in the series:
“What is the first thing that you would do if you became God?”
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Please make your answers short and clearly understandable.
If I became God I think that the first thing I would do is go to Amma, tell her about this new ‘development’ and ask her advice for my first steps of action… 🙂
First thing i would do is make myself something that is always with Amma .. so that i never forget Amma nor be away from Her
I have no idea. There are numerous things that I’d like to do but, considering that I’m only human… I’m assuming that if I was to suddenly become God- the best thing to do first would come naturally.
First of all its not a desire to become God but a desire to serve AMMA. Like the small squirrel did its part of seva by rolling on the sand and then swirling on the bridge to help Sri Rama, we also should try to do as much as we can within our ability doing Amma’s work.
if it’s possible to create a world with people wherein everyhuman will get fulfilled his/her basic needs and blessed with a mind to serve fellowbeings without expectation. i would pray for AMMA’S grace and follow Her footprints in serving humankind. but i would like to surrender to AMMA and serve rather than becoming GOD
there is nothing to do. isn’t it?
people says god is doing every thing. but he is not doing anything, in his presence every thing is happening.
let it happen then only i can say… after that iam everything… and there is nothing to do or say… after i become god … then IAM.
I will make everyone else GOD and go back to my initial state 🙂
ok ok, i don’t know.
I would rather be as I am and try to be with AMMA always.
I am not sure if there is an answer to that. To stay on Earth in such elevated consciousness apparently takes tremendous amount of effort COMPASSION.
The first thing that comes to mind is to give everyone a brief glimpse of their true selves – similar to Amma giving Darshan, or baby Krishna showing Yashoda the universe in his mouth. It would give everyone just a moment of internal peace that they could reflect on whenever times get rough.
How can i know?… i am not God… i am sure a part of me is God but right now i can only see through the eyes of a human being, and only strive to become a better person, grow spiritually and do my best to put in practice all Amma’s teachings.
Amma says, we are already God, we just don’t know it because of our negativity. If I were to clear up my vasanas, and realize I was God, I would just spend all my time in Amma’s lap and not change a thing!
If I (finally) attained Him, I would use my talents for lack of better word to aid Amma as best I can. I would do basically what Amma is doing. I would use my “talents” to aid the suffering humanity.
nothing I guess….there is nothing “I” could ever do at that point. but many things would just happen…
I think I would look around me and then fairly quickly shake my head in overwhelm, wondering what in the world I could do to help these humans who are living so unconsciously and are making such a big mess of the world.
I would liberate each and every one and finally eliminate suffering on all levels…
I don’t think I need to do anything by then, I will just be, if I attained Her. Things will happen or manifest at Her will.
I’d shower the whole world with unfathomable love, so that eventually folks would find their way back to me.
Amma has assured us all that we are already God and just don’t realize it yet. If this is the case, what is there to become?
If this question means what would we do when we realize God, that too is hard to answer. What plans can the candle flame make about the time following its extinguishment?
If i were God, i would try to eradicate poverty from the world by first changing people’s attitudes towards serving the poor and needy.
expand. . .
take birth as devotee of Amma.
Help my reflections to realise that they are God too so there is no need of misery and finitude ! 🙂
I would first go to AMMA & ask her to guide me in this new lila which she is playing with me. things will happen accordingly with her blessings
That’s an interesting question to reflect on. But isn’t it true that we are already God? Most of us haven’t realized it yet. And Amma shows us how to unveil the divinity within us and let go of the limited ego self.
Oh my GOD ! What a question… ??
if it happens then there wont be any questions… and answers…. of course !!
I don’t know what becoming God will mean to me at my current stage. So I hope the God that becomes does the right thing given the broad viewpoint it has acquired 🙂
For the sake of establishing peace and love in the world, I would incarnate in those religions where they preach hatred and division among men. The new incarnate will clean up the mess that present so-called custodians of these religions have been creating.
Bow in gratitude at beloved AMMA’S lotus feet
If I became God, I would concentrate on saving all children under slavery. I would inspire those people who has the wish in their heart to be useful tools in Gods hands.
I would concentrate on saving all children under slavery, using all the people who have the wish in their heart to serve the world.
If I m God, the 1st thing I would do is let every one in the world have at least one content meal a day with their loved ones, let them sleep that night at least without the least fear…thereby fulfilling AMMA’s small dream….
Nothing because I would not be anymore. Anyway, the only thing that I could do is to not do anything but accept that Amma does everything, not only now, but also then.
This is like the salt doll trying to measure the depth of the ocean. If I become GOD then I don’t exist any more. So there is no question of doing something.
Srishti (creation), Sthiti (preservation), Samhara (destruction), Tirodhana or Tirobhava (veiling), and Anugraha (grace) are the five kinds of activities of God.
Before becoming GOD i would like to become a perfect human being, by being so i automatically become GOD. After becoming GOD i will do what AMMA does. There will be two AMMAS then, two heads are better than one.
I would try my best to make people become aware of their precious human birth; would definitely help them to attain the highest goal of Self Realization as Amma is doing presently.
I would try and give enough love to everyone. We all need so much of it. Being a second little Amma to help her .
I would remedy the first God’s big mistake of giving free will, which was given out of love without much thought of consequence, apparently. Then I would be free to eliminate all sense of separation for everyone. Those who enjoyed the play of separation could be granted that sense upon request, but would have it withdrawn if they didn’t play nice.
Will probably know what to do once i become God…
expand. . . into instant prostration, that would send billion upon billions of butterflies as thanksgiving at Satguru Amma’s Holy Feet, that would rapture all creation to Amma.
i would take away free will. it’s caused so much trouble. but then if there isn’t any free will, we just won’t know that it exists. how about giving everyone realization?
If I were God I would always have everything I needed and wanted. I would be happy and I wouldn’t make mistakes. I would know what my purposes were and I could fullfill them. People would love me or hate me and it would be of no difference to me.
I would first ask Amma to be with me and ask her advice before doing anything.
Instead of God, I would like to become Camphor and burn in front of AMMA
I would remove the feeling of loneliness in people.
If I were God, I would make sure that every child in the world would have darshan with Amma at least once a year. In one generation, the world would change for the better.
If that were to happen, i would scatter as much love all over the world as possible so that none ever complains of not having enough love to give.
