Rainy Day Bhajans

It was a quiet and slightly rainy day today. Even now a slight breeze with a little smell of rain is there. I love this tropical climate even though I was born in the totally opposite arctic world. When I was a child I used to imagine tropical places in my mind in the cold dark nights of the northern hemisphere. I guess it was some kind of foreboding of things to come. In my mind everything here is connected with Amma. I imagine how Amma would have passed all the different seasons here in Her early life and find satisfaction in that. I used to go walking on the beach and swimming in the ocean thinking that this is where the God took birth in this age. Still I wonder at the beauty of it all. There is no place like this.

In the afternoon Amma recorded some bhajans for the upcoming tour. Mainly Telugu and Kannada songs. I’m sure the devotees will find a lot of joy in them. Amma just never stops giving happiness and joy in every direction.

Tonight on the list were quite a few classics and a couple of newer ones:

Narayana Hari
Tapta Manasam
Amme Bhagavati
Radha Ramana
Om Hari Om Hari
Om Namah Shivaya
Mor Mukut Vale
Jai Jai Kali Ma
Vishwanath
