One can smile out of love, happiness, joy, kindness, hypocrisy…
maybe to hide sadness, out of fear, to be polite, to imitate others smiling…
or because one doesn’t understand a certain situation, or simply is a bit ‘simple minded’…
So I guess all of these form my whole ‘smiles repertoire’!
With a ‘smile’ to all 🙂 a loving one, that is…
When I know that i will be getting Amma’s darshan, i have the biggest smile on my face. It is a smile from my heart, and of course when having darshan, my smile touches the ears!!
I smile knowing smile brings joy to others.
I smile knowing smile keeps at check the anger.
I smile when someone is loving and playful with me,
I smile when someone is foolish and angry with me.
I smile when I look into the innocent eyes of an infant.
I smile when AMMA looks into my eyes with a glance of Infinite.
I have different smiles for different occasions. But in my view if one has realized his/her innerself than there is only the smile of contentment. One is witness to the happening and not engrossed in the dealing so he is always smiling a genuine smile.
I have only one smile, that of inner happiness as I gaze at all things external with knowingness and peace without judgment.
A true smile says “yes!” without having to mouth the words. Anything else is the ego-mind searching for something.
I have really only two smiles. One of inner content and happiness, and one of the knowledge that I know that none of this Maya that we “see” is really there. Its almost like a hologram, or like being in God’s Supreme Video Game!! It isn’t real, and it never will be.
🙂
My smile is one but its expressions are many.
That is a difficult question. i dont know! I think i have as many expressions of smiles as i have happiness-moods. I only know i smile very big when i see someone i love, or when i want to make someone happy. It becomes then laughter.
I feel exactly like child, above.
To add to that, as if I am not self-conscious enough now imagine counting the types of smiles I have (if any – often I am reminded to smile). My God! After I saw this question, I began to count Her (Amma’s) smile types. They are as numerous as Her faces, moods and ways of loving. In any case, Her smile makes me smile.
Smile of happiness and Smile of acceptance
i feel Amma has shown there is only one smile and that it come from within her revealing of the absolute
I smile differently for different situations. As babies we can’t stop smile. Even a flower makes us smile. The rising Sun, a colorfully Sky, the full moon. Most of all of AMMAs photos and memories of AMMA make us smile. When we see AMMA we smile with tears, tears of joy.
Me, I, mine…I don’t care to count my smiles….what I do is insignificant…..
Does someone who is around AMMA know how many smiles they have?
Only one, that shines from heart. Don’t if other can be called ‘smile’. it is just the stretching of the chin muscles!
Wow. I do have many smiles on the mood I’m in.
I have a ‘fake’ smile I put on when I really don’t feel happy and need to smile.
I have a shy smile without really showing my teeth.
My greatest smile is when I’m laughing and am really happy. Like when I’m seeing Amma recieving darshan.
I love to smile. It makes me happy. Just smiling puts me in a great mood. 🙂
the very word smile brings a 🙂 to my lips….im reminded of the time wen i was wearing braces to correct my teeth…i’d been to vallikavu to see amma…i had been pratising how to smille nicely, in front of the mirror, since i myself was embarassed by the braces…but when my turn came,i forgot evrything about the braces….i was soo happy,i gave Amma the widest smile possible……..seeing the “metallic smile” she too burst into laughter so did all around her…..
only later wen my friends told me did i realize that the smile was really awkward…too big a smile!!…but then, when i am with amma ,smile comes straight from the heart!!!!
smile is the language of the soul….
Amma has blessed us all to smile once again. In my personal experience She has taught me to look at any situation (good and bad) from a positive stand point and be able to smile. Thus, the answer ………there is only 1 smile….a smile from within the heart that will change everything to bliss and peace….if only we look hard enough.
I have the biggest smile on my face always.Smile is the gift.Amma has blessed us all to smile always.
