Devi Bhava started at 7 PM with Amma’s satsang followed by an Atma Puja. Amma started giving darshan at around 9 PM.

Amma was wearing a light green saree. That was what I thought! I was not sure about the colour of the saree, so I asked several devotees. Some said it was teal, some others replied turquoise. The other responses were emerald green, aqua green and a combination of these colours.

I still don’t know what the exact colour of the saree was, but it looked beautiful because Amma was wearing it!

Devi Bhava ended at 9 AM on Sunday, June 8th.

  1. AMMA likes all colours alike. From the old collections of Devi Bhava we can see AMMA wearing Black Saree. Any colour when AMMA wears it has a very special effect.
As truly said in AMMAs Ashtohri “Prabhamandala weethayai namah”.

  2. It is a beatiful description, Thank you very much. Our beloved AMMA is a rainbow herself. So all the colours reflect on the saree she wears, when the saree is worn by her saree losses its original colour. So the colour appears to us as in the way we see. I am awed by the description and imagine how divine beautiful my AMMA would have been at that time. Why Devi Bhawa has stopped in India. mentally I imagine her in all the Bhawas but I would also like to witness it physically too. I bow to the lotus feet of my AMMA

  3. our beloved AMMA who is embodiment of Beauty makes everything beautiful, including sarees their colour, their designs and all of us too. So our AMMA looks beautiful in sarees of all colours!
