Master, walk with me
Master, walk with me a few more steps
For Life is passing through an unknown curve
My mind is full and heart is coarse
So walk with me till the next insight
Master, walk with me a few more steps
As I sway my sword in the dark
My battle is hard and my spirit is scarce
So walk with me as I grope for the light
Master, walk with me a few more steps
Teach me how to dance on the double edged sword
So walk with me as I learn your art
Through the rhythm of my heart and breath.
Master, walk with me a few more steps
For I know that sooner or later I need to find my way alone
In the realm of joy and sorrow that is sunk in your love
So walk with me until I reach your womb
Master, Walk with me a few more steps
For life is thus for many of us
I fall and they hold, they fall and I hold
And thus we reach the pathless goal
Master, Walk with me a few more steps
Until the ‘I’ in me is no more

These lines remind me of
“Teach me how to dance on the double edged sword
So walk with me as I learn your art”
the most important verse in Katta (or Katha) Upanishad:
uttiṣṭhata jāgrata prāpya varānnibodhata |
kśurasya dhārā niśitā duratyayā
durgaṁ pathastatkavayo vadant ||
